Excuse the long-ish review. TLDR: If you want the lightest, but still crazy strong wrist strap, this is the one to get. Now the long version: I'd seen a trend of people carrying their Fuji X100's with lanyards designed for mobile phones, as a stand-in for a proper wrist strap. As much as I love the idea of a phone lanyard form factor, a piece of string looped through a camera lug to prevent an accidental drop seems risky at best, especially knowing how Fuji lugs eat through cords attachments. That would not end well, I thought. In my head I knew what I wanted, then set out to find it, thinking it would be easy. Everything else I saw was either over-engineered, or attached with a string, or both. The W2 was literally the only strap that was sleek and didn't attach with a piece of string. When I got it, I tried pulling the stitching apart (I figure it's got a lifetime warranty, right?) and failed miserably. Couldn't even pop a single thread. Impressed. I've been happily rocking it on my X100VI and it is exactly what I wanted! I wondered why not everyone made a strap like this, and my best guess is, because making something this small is hard like building a miniature train set. Seriously, are you guys using microscopes to get all the stitching exactly right? 😉

My personal favorite strap of all time, and I've tried MANY. Does everything I need it to do, and nothing I don't. Adjusts fast, packs small, converts into a decent wrist strap. I never understand the logic of carrying a detachable shoulder strap and wrist strap PLUS the bag you then need just to carry your straps. As someone who likes to do more with less, the Simplr strap is the best balance of everything I want when carrying my Fuji X-T5.

I have purchased three F1 straps. First for my Canon R7– works well even with my RF 100-400mm telephoto lens attached. It provides just enough support but takes up less space in a camera bag or backpack. I also added an F1 to a pair of binoculars and to my Canon RP. I use the F1 cross body on my left shoulder and carry the gear on my right hip/lower back. Sometimes also in wrist configuration.

The best minimal and quality strap I’ve used on my Fuji. I had pgytech and small Fuji strap which came with it but this one is without bulk and feels the most protective. Very adjustable and easy without any resistance. Haven’t seen any better strap yet. I’ve used other products from simplr (heavy duty rings, rubber gaskets) everything is high quality.

Cross-body, chest, back: There's always a spot where the camera sits just right. Regardless of what you wear, the F1 lets you adjust. The amount of friction the nylon produces: Just right. Zero bulk (unlike with Peak Design) in the bag and in the hand. Absolutely silent. Just right. And after years of heavy use: Like new. Just right. I've tried several wrist straps over the years, and the W2 strikes the best balance of comfort and security. It's incredibly lightweight without feeling flimsy, and it never gets in the way while shooting. I use my camera to capture everyday life and family moments, so I appreciate gear that disappears into the background and lets me focus on the moment. It's become a permanent part of my X100VI setup.

Elegant and efficient strap. Great match with a Sony A7C2 with compact zoom or prime lens. Would be perfect if the small straps that attach to the camera had an extra 10mm each to give more space when used as a wrist strap.

I originally bought one of these straps because I saw it on Instagram and thought it would be nice to have something that could be adjusted on the fly. At the time I used the stock strap with my vintage Nikon N2000, which as ok, but not much as far as adjustability. Then I switched to the Simplr F1 and carrying that slightly heavy SLR suddenly became significantly more comfortable. Now I can wear it up high on my chest or loosen it to wear as a long crossbody sling. It was akin to wearing uncomfortable shoes and then all of a sudden you've slid on a pair of crocs - it's comfort all around, just not ugly or bulky like the shoes. I liked it so much I bought another for my Nikon FE. I'm even thinking of getting the Ultralight version for my Leica Q.

Overall, I'd say the attention to detail is top notch. The stitching is very secure, the split rings are second to none as are all the materials used. I'm very pleased with these straps and have recommended them to many of my photographer friends.

I have two of these now, a black F1 for my Nikon ZF, and a relic wolf F1 for Fuji X-T5. I have straps from several popular brands, and while they are lovely, they never quite get out of the way in the way I want them to. The Simplr straps are a little rougher to the touch than some others, but they do their job so perfectly that it's hard to be upset about it. I have a small preference for the relic versions, but to me the difference in feel isn't enough to wait for a limited run if you need a strap now.

I'll end up with several more F1 straps for my film cameras, because these are all so lovely.

When I bought my Q3 I picked up a ridiculously expensive but impressive looking rope strap with leather flaps to protect the body. When I was shooting using a grip with a Leica loop the flaps put the strap in the way. The flaps prevent folding the strap down and made shooting awkward. I found the perfect solution with the Simplr Ultralight. The rings are smaller so no flaps or black rings are needed for protection. The best part is that the ultralight folds straight down next to the body and virtually disappears, while still being strong and secure.

I’m really enjoying the W2 strap! Its simple and unobtrusive design makes it super easy and safe to use my Fujifilm X-T5 when I’m out and about. It’s truly a testament to the quality craftsmanship of their straps.

This W2 is a gamechanger for photographers who opt for CWB carry (cameras without bags).

It’s a accessory that is thin enough to be weightless, unobtrusive to shooting, and yet provide enough security to have the camera always on hand on the streets.

That minimal S branding identifies this to other Simplr users we all wish to encounter anywhere in the world. While this won’t be a replacement for the legendary F1 straps with bigger lens setup, this W2 is truly an excellent strap for lightest possible carry.

This is more of a initial impression rating.
I have the flat mount F1 which works very well on my Olympus Pen digital (I am wearing it sling style). The strap is super light and the width is perfect for my needs. I was surprised by how thin the strap material is, if feels very durable, flexible and adjusting the length is a breeze, the best of any strap I have used so far. One thing I still need to experience is how comfortable the strap will be when just wearing a t-shirt, we are just getting into spring so that will come soon. Over all very happy with this minimalist strap, good job team.

I’ve had the F1 Coyote Brown Limited for four years, and it still feels brand new. This strap has been my reliable companion on city walks and mountain hikes, enduring everything from scorching Texas summers to the freezing temperatures of Colorado. One of the first upgrades when I get a new body is this strap. Low profile utilitarian's dream. Simple is right. I'm an Infantry vet so I may speak to a niche crowd when I say this, but for a while there was a fad with riflemen trying new, "better" slings: one-point, three-point, modular, wraps, elastic, all kinds of nonsense. At the end of the day, the traditional two point sling still reigns supreme. Camera straps are the same thing. While it's interesting to see things like NATO rails and QD rifle sling points making their way into the photography world, no one is out here doing combat reloads with their SD cards and batteries, right? Okay, I'm sure someone is, but there's no need to overcomplicate it. This strap just works. Solid, quick adjustment, no bulk, well built with no obvious failure points, no gaudy branding to draw attention (so think the opposite of people with bright red PD QD disks hanging off their camera with no strap in sight just for the aesthetics). Was surprised to see just how hard it was to find some simple, reliable nylon gear but glad I came across this brand that is 100% in line with my own views. I own 4 now and wish I could be as streamlined and disciplined with my GAS but I'm happy to keep attaching these straps to my cameras as my collection inevitably grows.

i bought the limited Black Multicam F1 three years ago and i am glad i did, even though i barely finally tied them to my Fuji X-E3 before my first Japan trip for this year on April - May. since then, i feel that this has been one of the best purchase from all photography stuffs i did since 2016. i looked upon my decision again on my second Japan trip for this year last December and there was no doubt how comfy it feels ever since.

I won’t go into detail since other reviews already cover how great the strap is. I’ll just say I’d been searching for a strap that’s a perfect fit for the X100VI for a long time, and I finally found it.

Also: outstanding customer service. My order arrived missing one pack of Lug Bumpers (which are fantastic too, much slimmer and more discreet than the bulky strap protectors included with Fujifilm’s stock strap, while still doing the job perfectly), but the owner responded quickly … Really impressive customer service, I’d definitely order again (if I ever need another strap).

I tried a lot of camera straps (including PD models), and now these are my go-to. I own 2, one for my Minolta X700 and one for my Bronica RF45. Both cameras are on the heavier side (2.5lbs+), but this strap is still comfortable. It cannot be beat for its simplicity, lack of bulk, and ease of adjustment. They just work well and get out of the way when you need them to.

I like it's light and no frills. But for the price it is a bit too basic. For bigger lenses would be nice to have different options (e.g., hardware to attach to tripod screw) so that the lens can hang downwards.

I've been a working photographer since 1985. When I made the switch from Nikon DSLRs to Fujifilm Mirrorless back in 2014, I swapped from the BlackRapid slings that I needed for the large and heavy DSLRs and big lenses to Peak Design Leash straps for all of my smaller, lighter cameras and lenses.

I loved the slim, easily adjustable nature of the leash since then, but have struggled a bit as the large clunky 'anchors' have scratched up my camera bodies while my cameras are riding in my bag in between shoots all day.

When I saw the Simplr straps, I first dismissed them because they don't have a quick release, but then I stopped and actually thought back to the last time I actually took my strap OFF any of my cameras and realised that I do NOT almost EVER take my straps off any of my cameras.

I ordered one F1Ultralight and put it on my one of X-E5 bodies. Within a week, I was so impressed that ordered two more for each my second X-E5 body and my backup X-T50.

These offer me ALL of the benefits that I had with the PD Leash and none of the downside of beating up my camera bodies. They are just THERE holding my cameras where I need them and otherwise out of my way. I'm sold!

I bought the F1 and the F1 Ultralight on a whim a couple years ago for my Fujifilm X-Pro3 and X-Pro2. Frankly I wasn’t initially impressed because yes, they are simple. Regardless, having paid for them, I strapped up my Fujis and discovered that I love them.

Why?

They’re slippery. This is critical. If your camera is over your shoulder, cross-body style, and your strap is at all grippy, then it drags on your clothes while swinging it from your hip to your eye. The nylon makes for a smooth transition.

The quick adjustment feature is just perfect. Even after all the miles put on my existing ones, it’s still both rapid and secure. I shorten when not shooting, which keeps the camera close to my body and lengthen when shooting to have that dexterity.

These two factors are necessities when I’m working with multiple bag/camera configurations.

In terms of the F1 vs. the F1 ultralite, I like the ultralight better. It’s just a little sleeker which makes all of the above things easier.

The smallest camera gets the sleeker strap. And for the past year that has been a Leica Q2M. The X-Pro3 is actually larger and I will leave the F1 with it. Great combo.

My problem is that I acquired a Q3 and cannot stand the fixed leather strap that it came with.

So I’m going to order a third one. My other two straps have seen a lot of action. They are in no danger of wearing out. I worked them hard and have had nor can foresee any construction issues.

If you are reading this, consider my review a long-term, in the field test. The verdant is, “just perfect” and so much so I’m buying another one.

Although I wish Simplr had a dealer in the EU (I asked an American friend to bring this from the US) the strap itself is perfect. Thin, robust and, most important, without any annoying buckles that get between hand and camera, and no metal pieces that can leave scratches. Love it.

Perfect for compact cameras such as X100, ordered to Europe as could not find anything else like it. Replaced an old Artisan and Artist adjustable strap.

What I like about this strap is that it is narrow, adjustable, does not contain leather, durable hardware, plain/simple, discreet branding, smaller metal rings and rubber protection available.

Will stock up on another of these straps as backup.

I was looking for a sturdy, lightweight, minimalist strap for travelling with a mirrorless camera. The Simplr F1 kept popping up as the standard. And I can see why. It's strong, but doesn't pack a lot of extra bulk or weight, and has no glaring branding. The fact that you can use it as a wrist strap as well as a neck/shoulder strap is definitely a plus. I've carried on multiple hikes in the high desert, and I've stopped keeping my camera in my backpack. With this strap, I have no issue climbing or scrambling through brush. It is perfect. Other reviews have commented on the split rings. I wouldn't have thought of mentioning those, but I'll echo what's been said. They are strong. A bit of a challenge to get them on. That's the strong part. But I have no doubt they, like the strap itself, will stand up to whatever I throw at it. I just hope the lugs on my camera hold up as well. Honestly, I can't think of a reason NOT to buy this strap.

Light, strong, comfortable, adjustable, minimal branding—exactly what I'm looking for in a practical camera strap. I love its balance of utility and presentation (some companies lean too far in one direction or another and end up an ugly mass of nylon and plastic or a beautiful leather heirloom with no adjustably that you can't get wet).

The split rings are excellent—smooth & strong. I've ordered more to replace the split rings on my other straps. Cura split rings are hard to source in the US and, being brass, aren't anywhere near as robust as these. If you don't want to use your fingernails, I highly recommend Xuron 496 Split Ring pliers (https://xuron.com/index.php/main/industrial_products/13/47).

I had already purchased an F1 in Camo Green for my Fuji X-T2 many months ago and love it more every time I use it. When the clasp on the (non-Simplr) strap of my iPad mini case recently fell apart after only light use, I immediately thought: "Hey! This case has lugs. Why not get another Simplr?" And so I did, this time in Black. The new rings take a little more finesse to thread into the lugs, but that's also what makes them so reliably strong. As with my Fuji, I feel totally confident that I can sling the iPad mini over my shoulder and never have to worry about it. The F1 is light, super-strong, well-designed, and just works. I love it, and I kind of wish I had more things to put straps on.

Nice strap but putting the rings on the lug mount was a pain. The pain was made worse when I mistakenly put one on backward. I like the older Simplr straps with the plastic interconnect system. That system may have reliability issues? But far easier and more convenient.

I was using a Peak Design Leash, which works great for my X70, but it just didn't feel right with the more substantial GFX100RF. In my search for a better option, I stumbled on Simplr which was just a bit more robust but still had the thin strap at the anchors. After using this for a couple weeks, I can saw this was a goldilocks fit for this camera.

This is a great strap that does exactly what they say it does. I love that it is simple, attractive, strong, and flexible in that you can wear it short or long, or knot it into a wrist strap. Nice attention to critical details (like the split rings), was the icing on the cake for me. I was happy to get one of the limited edition colors that I had been eyeing for a while, and it looks as nice in person as I was expecting! Also important to me was having something that wasn't bulky, and didn't scream tacky branding on it. If you have been thinking about this strap, and you want simple, beautiful and functionally excellent, go for it.

An awesome yet simple strap. I needed something that could go from around the neck to cross-body quickly as I often go out with my binos and camera at the same time and this strap does exactly that. It’s strong and sturdy yet doesn’t weight much which is a big plus as I take my binos with me while hiking.

Using this on my x-t50 and love the simplicity but also the versatility of the strap. Never thought that I’d stop using my peak design straps, but especially on a smaller camera this is exactly what I needed to make the switch. The ONLY thing that would take it to the next level is metal hardware instead of the black plastic.

The strap is comfortable and well made, though I wish it were wider. The strap that came with my Zf is of course not very good, but its widest part is wider than the F1 strap. Carrying the Zf (with the 40mm lens it came with) around my neck leads to pain relatively quickly which is disappointing, though carrying it sling-style is much more comfortable. I have some concerns about using this strap with heavier lenses but don’t yet have any to experiment with. So I just wish the strap were wider, but am otherwise quite satisfied.

I find the Simplr strap comfortable in a cross body configuration even with my heaviest lens (an Olympus 300mm f/4). Whether I’m using the strap or just have my camera in hand, the strap doesn’t get in the way of any of the camera controls. Glad I found this brand and I have since ordered a second strap for another camera I own.

Got the F1 strap and it’s just an overall fantastic camera strap. I’m using it on my Fujifilm x100vi. I also got the lug bumpers, but honestly I don’t think the lug bumpers are necessary. Love how it’s just a minimal, great-looking, and super sturdy and strong strap. Just what I was looking for.

I'm not a big fan of overly-branded camera maker straps so this was a great solution. Strap is a nylon material that is both soft and pliable without needing cushion straps or different materials. It's simple, out the way, and just what I wanted. Great price and really fast shipping was a plus.

I'm an amateur, but experienced, hobby photographer. I recently acquired a new two-camera harness, and the safety straps need rings to attach to the camera lug (both Sony a6400). The rig came with its own rings, but I have no idea what, if any, rating they have. I also am trying to diversify my on-line purchasing away from that large online retailer. Buying stuff like this is almost too easy on that site. Often you really don't know what you're getting. I also wanted something that had an actual strength rating. I need three for each camera, because the left lug is hidden behind my L-brackets, so I need two rings on that side to reach outside the bracket. I also replaced the right one to make it easier to use my paracord wrist lanyards when I am not using the full harness rig (and also things match). I somehow found these searching online and ordered them right away. Fast delivery and these do what I want and need.

Just received and not used in the wild yet, I'm initially blown away by how comfortable and clean-lined the strap is. I am looking skeptically at the buckles, hoping they hold up to use. What kind of plastic are they made of? The ease of adjustment is great, with that pull-tab making it easy to go from neck to cross-body.

I'm very happy with the F1 strap on my new Nikon Zf camera. I removed the strap lug triangles that came with the camera and started fresh with the F1and its integrated small split circular rings. The rings were tricky to attach correctly to the camera lugs, to avoid reversing the strap, but the final result is excellent. The Simplr demo videos were very helpful to understand the correct orientation for attachment. I love how easy the strap is to adjust in length, allowing it to go from a long cross body length to a short neck strap, or even a wrist strap, very quickly. I also appreciate how thin the cords are close to the lugs to make the strap very comfy and unobtrusive against the fingers while composing. And the strap is so light and compact it won't take up much room at all in my small sling bag. The quality is great, and I like that the adjustment buckles are made of a hard plastic resin material , not metal, so camera scratches are effectively avoided. The soft green strap color looks handsome contrasting with black camera finish. I expect this strap to stay on for as long as I own the camera, so I'm not disappointed it lacks a quick-release anchor point option. I'm very glad I stumbled on this Simplr F1 in the nick of time.

I really like the design … very easy to install and use … feels like no strap at all while shooting. The one criticism I have is, I wish it had quick-release, like the first generation of Simplr straps. Overall it’s a great camera strap for everyday use.

Absolutely perfect for what I wanted/needed. Was looking for a strap to go on a new FujiFilm camera, tried the Peak, which was a good strap, but I don't like the little tabs hanging, and more important, when I grip the camera without the strap around my neck, I would like the part connecting to the camera to be flat, so you don't feel it as much. Then tried the hipster rope, same problem. The F1 came today, and it is perfect, lightweight, out of the way when you need it to be, and takes up very little room in a camera bag.

This strap is well made and fairly priced. It is a good match for a small, light camera and its length is easy to adjust to suit the preference of the user for how to carry the camera. But this product would be considerably improved if it had (1) swivel connectors between the upper and lower segments and (2) a, wider, soft, clinging (e.g., neoprene) positionable shoulder pad to as an added precaution against slipping.

This is the first Simplr strap I have owned. I bought this strap for an Olympus E-M1-3 and it's a perfect match. Very minimalist, which for me is the best feature of the strap. Super lightweight, no bling that screams "here I am, look at me". I have a few other cameras, and there is a better than even chance they will be getting an upgrade soon. I think the F1 is an out-and-out home run.

i’ve been a camera enthusiast for many years. i thought i had tried them all. this is my first simplr f1. i just love how easy it is to adjust the length and the ability to convert into a hand strap. i’ve been using mine as a hand strap mainly. it is simple and perfect. my only gripe is the small split rings were impossible for me to attach to my fuji camera. i ended up replacing them with slightly larger ones.

The strap is light and strong. But for the price I was expecting the materials used in the strap to be somewhat more elevated and softer, but it uses standard polyester bands found in most standard straps that come with the cameras. The edges of this strap irritates the skin around my neck unfortunately, just like the standard ones.

I think this is the best camera strap, end of discussion. It actually reminds me of a rifle sling (Vickers Tactical) where you can adjust it's length on the fly. The fit and finish is also excellent, not to mention the customer service. Absolutely excellent!

I was looking for something as light and as simple as my oem Sony strap, but with adjustable length and without bright "sony" logo.
I was dissatisfied with Peak design slide lite - because it's bulky, heavy. Metal connectors are huge, extremely close to camera, constantly rubbing and knocking when i carry camera in a bag, and they always obstruct display/evf when shooting in portrait orientation.
Simplr strap has fixed all this for me. Simply perfect for my type of usage.

Great materials, build quality, and most importantly design. Little clever things like how the flat mount keepers synch up perfectly with three layers of nylon once the strap is installed are so slick. The adjustment tab also makes adjusting on the fly zero hassle. Looks amazing too, super clean.

This strap is exactly what they say it is - and what I was looking for - strong, elegant, attractive, and simple. I am using it on an OM1 and an X-T2 with a variety of small and large lenses. I like that it is not bulky but it is comfortable and strong and comes in elegant colors. I also like that I can wear it as cross-body or convert it to a wrist strap, and there isn't a lot of bulk that gets in the way.

Very lightweight strap has been a good match for days on the trail with my ef-m cameras. Very pleased--the adjustment works very well and no concern over strength and durability. The strap is stiff and does twist when changing positions from straight neck hang to shoulder-neck position, but straightens without trouble. I also figured out a nice self-tightening wrist-strap setup that's much more secure and just as easy to arrange. The strap is a bit rough on the neck but hasn't been problematic. Would certainly buy another for my second field camera.

Bought two of these in different colors for my Fujifilm X-T30 and X-T4. I’m vegan so it’s nice to have a strap that isn’t leather. It’s really easy to adjust from short to long. I went skateboarding with it and skated around town for miles with the camera and strap on me and it is super comfortable. Would highly recommend if you don’t own one.

I needed a replacement strap for my FE2. I bought this strap after seeing it advertised on IG. My fault not knowing it didn’t have a swivel. I should have done a deeper dive into the specs. I hate twisted straps and this strap gets twisted up into a tangle. The sliding nature of the strap gaps; I bought some thin Velcro flat ties to use as keepers to keep the gap closed.
Fit and finish is excellent, good attention to detail. Now, if you could add a couple of swivel connectors…

I keep the camera most of the time in my backpack and take the camera out only whenever I need it. I do not plan to carry it on my shoulder or neck for excess amounts of time. Therefore, I needed a lightweight strap which does not restrict the usage of the camera. This strap fills the need perfectly. It folds very nicely, almost disappears. Hence, it does not come to your face when framing the shot nor does take up excess space in the camera bag.

Using this to carry a Leica-M camera with different prime lenses. The Leica's design is ultra-minimal, and so is the design of this strap. I love the aesthetic. But also: super comfortable. And also: wow, it really is versatile. I spent 8 hours walking around doing photography, and at different times of day and situations, I actually switched from body-strap to neck-strap to wrist-strap. It was awesomely convenient. So far so good! Although I haven’t had a chance to use the strap ‘in the field’ so to say, from what I can tell it’s exactly what I was looking for in a camera strap ◡̈ The only thing, as others have mentioned, are the rings you have to use to install the strap itself.. they’re difficult to work with and it did take me a little bit of time doing and re-doing it to get the strap on the camera the way I wanted. Besides that I’m happy with my purchase!

For such a simple camera accessory, finding a good camera strap can be an impossible task! I have multiple F1s and F1 ultralights, and they just work! Light weight, comfortable, secure, high quality hardware. No unneeded bells and whistles. Even though it is permanently attached to the camera, the thinner straps keep it out of the way. The pull tab quickly and easily change length and the option to run the strap through the buckle to create a wrist strap are great when you need to change your shooting style. Not a lot of bulk to strap so easily packs into camera bag or pocket. All together an very well thought out strap.

Hands down, the most comfortable neck/sling strap I’ve used. Extremely lightweight but feels sturdy and evenly distributes the weight across my neck or shoulders. The tapered strap by the lugs keeps it out of the way when pulling up to my eye, an issue I’ve had with the PD anchors and straps.

That said, I’d say the ability to convert to a wrist strap is a bit of a gimmick - it doesn’t feel secure and the mass of d rings causes it to feel very clunky. You’d be better off doing the normal “wrap around your wrist” method if your intention is to use it as a wrist strap.

I’m using this on a mirror less camera with a small pancake lens and it is an ideal size and weight. I wish the length adjustment was less bulky and snaggie. It’s probably great for folks who need to change the length of the strap frequently, but that’s not me.

The F1 is, simply, a great camera strap. And one well worth every penny of its relatively reasonable price. I now have one on my Fuji XT5, and had another on an XT3 before it, as well as having the smaller Simplr strap on my tiny X30. It's comfortable, functional and just seems to fit the camera, in an organic way. The only minor irritant worth mentioning - is the difficulty of getting the round silver rings, at the ends of the straps, to correctly attach to the camera's lugs. Prying the metal ring open enough to slide it through the lug takes the patience of a saint and the strength of a dock worker, neither of which I am. Not to mention the whole issue of which side (of the ring) is the right side to slide through, because if you put the wrong side through, you'll have to redo the entire process... Sigh. But, apart from that, it is a seriously great strap. And if you have a good camera, shouldn't you treat yourself to a good strap too, and one that is worthy of it?

I have a Nikon Z50 that came with triangle split rings. I moved away from a neck strap and went with a quick disconnect wrist strap from Small Rig. I didn't like how it attached to the triangle rings and wanted round split rings for a cleaner look. I purchased the circular split rings from Simplr and love them when combined with these bumpers! My only "wish" would be that they would make a slightly smaller size of circular split rings. I bought the ones they make and they're great but look a bit large on the Nikon Z50.

I ordered this for the Canon M50 Mark II that I got for Christmas, because I wanted something better than the stock Canon camera strap. It didn't disappoint. These straps are well made, highly functional, and pair well with smaller cameras. I particularly appreciate the ability to easily lengthen it for use as a cross-body strap. The only drawback I found, was that the webbing was a smidge too wide for the flat mounts on my camera. Fortunately, I was able to work them through and although not a perfect fit, the strap is completely serviceable.

I purchased this strap for my new Fuji xt5. I love the look and feel of the strap and it is easy to store in a camera bag due to its low profile. The only negative is the split rings. They are very sturdy but not flexible and due to this fact they are are very difficult to attach. I would have awarded 5 stars if not for the rings. Still a great product and I'm well-pleased with my purchase.

Let me just say that I used to be a loyal PD customer, but now I’m converted. The really supportive straps they made were a bit too stiff for my small frame and always got in the way. What I like about this strap is that it’s already attached to my camera body, which saves me time and is just overall convenient. Secondly, I appreciate that the design allows for me to easily convert the strap into “wrist mode.” I will def purchase again, and I look forward to any future designs this brand may release.

I own several of the F1 Ultralight straps now and they have quickly become my favorite for smaller camera systems. I think the only thing holding me back from a 5-star glowing review is the lack of some sorta "sticky" material on the inside of the strap (at the center) to keep the strap from slipping off a shoulder. Not a major gripe, just a minor want. Otherwise I highly, highly recommend anything from Simplr.

I prefer minimalist straps, and this is it. I don’t want it getting in the way, and not taking up much room in my bag. I never remove neck straps, so the lack of a quick release is not an issue for me. I have 4 various Sony A6000 series cameras, all fitted with Simplr straps. I go way back with Nikon cameras from the 70’s, when thin straps were the norm, so that’s not a problem for me. With heavier gear, of course wider straps are more practical. If you are using compact cameras, it is worth taking a look at Simplr straps.

The quick adjust strap, with a quick conversion to a wrist strap, are wonderful bonuses. I am so spoiled now, that I definitely couldn’t go back to a strap without a quick adjust buckle.

I also love the color selection. Always a sucker for black, olive green & gray. I was surprised when I ordered the limited edition brown. I ordered it to have a different color strap. Not normally into brown, but really loved this color.

Yes, I am THAT guy you were referring to when you said "obsessive" about the condition of my cameras! They're my most prized possessions. I have these bumpers in both sizes: standard with an F1 on my Fuji X-Pro2 and small on my F1ultralight with the Fuji X100F. It's tough to find the exact right size bumper where the ring isn't bowed out our toward the camera. On both of these sizes the rings hang straight, but won't touch my camera when pulled on. Bravo Simplr. Nicely done.

It really is shocking how smooth to the touch these are. I have the original heavy duty split rings and have used them with Peak Design anchor loops for over 2 years. There are still no signs of wear on the anchor loops. Easy enough to remove but very secure. A must buy in my opinion.

I'm using this on an Olympus omd e-m10 with a 40-150mm lense. So not a huge camera. I don't know why it's so hard to find simple things that just work. This strap just works. Adjusting it is super easy I wear it either cross body or as a neck strap. It's comfortable, lightweight and unobtrusive. I wear it hiking or just around and it's perfect. Honestly it dose t sound like much to just say ya it's a camera strap. But apparently that's really hard for people to do. I like it more than my peak design straps and more than normal fixed length straps. I guess for a heavier camera it'd be nice if they made a 2" strap but not my problem! I love this strap.

Using with Fuji E-X3 and it’s pretty well perfect. One star off for the split ring connector. I have a PD strap with their large quick releases and, although the QR works well, those disc things can get in the way when you grasp the camera.

The F1 strap is invisible in use and doesn’t get in the way when you hold the camera. Good colour, I got the castor gray.

After I put the strap on I discovered I had put the adjust tab on my left side, when I would have preferred the right side, but because I find those split-rings a PITA I couldn’t be bothered changing it. Maybe when the snows come I will spend another hour fart-arsing around with them. 🙂

After reading and watching too many camera strap reviews to count, I almost gave up. Then I searched "simple camera strap" as a last resort. I ended up here. I bought the green F1. I've used it for a month. It is everything I wanted.

If you're in search of a simple strap, buy this and stop your search. If you're thinking, but I want a strap that has quick-release dongles that attach to the camera, and awkwardly stick out when the strap is removed, then you probably don't want a strap that looks good on your camera. Also, most all straps use metal, which seems less than ideal around LCD displays and glass. In one month of use I have worn the F1 on several-mile hikes, converted it to a loose wrist strap, and easily attached my camera to tripods. It's always worked.

One note: I use a Fujifilm X-T4 and the lug mounts sit near the top edge of the camera. This means the metal split rings will make contact with the camera. To counteract that, I used small rubber O-rings — a standard #83 ring (found a local hardware store) fits so well it looks like they came with the camera.

Super light and easy to adjust, great design. That being said I am not currently using it for my x100v. Even though it can be configured to use as wrist strap it's a bit loose and bulky for me. I prefer my dedicated wrist strap. But this does not mean I will not switch back at some point! And It's great knowing that I have a super nice lightweight, easy to adjust strap at the ready for when I want to change things up.

I purchased this strap to fit on my Leica M monochrome and although shipping to the UK made it a little costly due to import fees I thought the design concept suited my needs. First off: I haven't found the right strap for me yet, but it's not for a lack of trying. This means I'm very critical. So take my review with a pinch of salt.

The 'easy adjustment' - in the video it looks great, but it only works if you make the strap longer. If you want to make it shorter you have to awkwardly squeeze it with your other hand while you drag the easy to grab bit upward. It's kinda like petting a cat the wrong way. The strap doesn't want to be adjusted in this way. Other straps have solved the same problem better.

The strap always has a part where the main broad strap is doubled. To me this introduces a bit of chaos because when I grab it from my bag I never know where to grab it and it can get tangled. I do not like chaos when getting my camera out.

Price/quality is so/so. Materials are good but cheap and I don't understand the high pricepoint. I'm trained as a product designer and I understand the value of good design, proper materials, quality control etc. but with this strap I just don't see it. To me it feels overhyped, overpriced and not designed well enough - even though I clearly sense the love and attention that went into it.

Some things I do appreciate: it's light, it's inconspicuous, if you like the look then it's stylish, and I love indie companies that make stuff from the heart so in that sense I'm definitely glad to have supported the indie business.

When I just bought the strap there was a review link that didn't work and that made me feel like the reviews might have been suppressed, and that made me kinda angry. After just finding the strap again in my bag of unused straps, I wanted to give it a chance again on my fuji X-E4 but it's incompatible. It made me remember that I never reviewed it so I tried the link again and it worked so I was wrong! So I'm writing this review for a guy like me, who has tried a lot and is very critical. My favorite strap right now is a piece of paracord. Honestly, that works better than most straps I've tried - you can wrap it around the lens when not in use, you can easily adjust the length, it weighs nothing and it can make you look like an amateur which is not a bad thing imo 😛

I can't overstate how much I enjoy the connection point being so much smaller than my previous Peak Design straps (no hate towards PD, still love them). I'd love to see more available colors and maybe a version with a slightly more premium feeling strap material at some point.

So happy I took the plunge and ordered the Simplr F1 for my Fuji x100v. I contemplated between the F1 and F1ultralight for a while but decided on the F1 since I don't consider the x100v to be an ultralight camera like it is touted to be. I actually don't think you could go wrong with either. The F1 is already ultralight as far as I'm concerned and does not get in the way. Out of curiosity I might have to pick up the F1ultralight as well. Pricing is completely fair for such well designed and meticulously crafted strap that looks amazing on any camera.

This is the perfect strap for the Fuji X100V (that's what I happen to have it attached to, so I'm pointing to that camera specifically, but I'd say my comments apply to any newish, smaller, camera) for 2 reasons. 1) Fuji (and the many online fans of this camera) encourages you to treat the camera as not just a photo-taker, but also a photo-developer. What I mean is there are a zillion settings for jpeg manipulation on this camera, and Fuji actively encourages you to get the shot right the first time, in the camera, not spend all your time in Lightroom fiddling. For that purpose, the ingenious design of this strap is perfect. Note how the section of the strap that actually attaches to the camera is extremely thin and minimalist; what that means is that while you are following Fuiji's dictates to get the jpeg right in the field, you have the absolute minimum of strap getting in your way as you check the jpeg on the rear screen and change settings to improve it. And 2) the very smart and well-designed mechanism to change the strap length from sling-style (across the chest for maximum safety for the expensive camera) to neck-hanging length (the best length for jpeg checking and adjusting) is super easy to use, and foolproof. All in all, I could go on longer, but I won't. This strap makes all kinds of sense for smaller cameras, and is beautifully made by a great little company that deserves your support to boot. If you have any instinct to give this a try, I highly recommend checking it out. You can always return it within 30 days if you don't like it. In my experience emailing with the owner/designer/operator, you will find him very friendly, easy to deal with, and eager to please. These days, that deserves a lot of support. 5 zillion stars, if I could give it that.

The ultralight strap is very comfortable, and easily adjustable, whether I am only wearing a t-shirt, or a coat. I am very happy with this strap. I was a little challenged with getting the strap connected to my Fujifilm Xt2. My mini Swiss army knife helped ply the ring open enough to attach it, but it wasn't easy, and was afraid that I would end up scratching the camera's body. In any event, I am very happy with the purchase.

As a sling it’s a swank upgrade from the freebie that came with my camera. Comfortable to wear, no scratchy metal hardware, easy to loosen/lengthen, if a bit annoying to tighten/shorten.

If you follow the Simplr instructions to convert to a wrist strap the loop is much too large to provide any security -- it'll slip right off your hand and dump the camera on the pavement. But if instead you cinch the strap about half way before feeding it back thru the D-rings, then the wrist loop is tight enough that it won't slip off. It's a bit clumsier than a dedicated wrist strap, but the convertible aspect is super handy.

I got the flat mount version so I can hook it up to a pair of Peak Design anchors.

Finally caved and gave this a try after getting ads on Instagram for a while. I’m glad I did - the provided rings are sturdy and lie flat against the camera body when you’re using the camera. The straps cover everything they need to, and protect the body from getting scuffed by the rings. Nice, thoughtful, minimalist design. The only problem I can see with this business model is that I’m never going to need another strap.

For a long time, I eschewed neck straps in favor of a simple neoprene wrist strap that allowed me to carry the camera in my hand but prevented it from falling if I were to lose my grip on it. Over the years, however, I got tired of having a heavy camera/lens combination in my hand all the time like this. I purchased an F1 for my rangefinders and fitted the ends of the strap with small gate hooks to allow it to be transferred from one camera to another easily (and I have the neoprene wrist straps with gate hooks as well for when I may still want to carry the camera that way). Simplr's split rings are permanently on all of my rangefinders. Recently I purchased a new mirrorless camera with flat mounts, so I got a new F1 for that camera. Simplr straps are elegant but minimalist. I love the method Simplr devised for keeping the ends of the mounting straps neat. These straps don't call attention to you or to your camera. They just do what they are supposed to do. Thanks to Simplr, I am now much more likely to have a camera with me when I am out and about. And when you have a camera with you, you get the opportunity to perhaps capture something amazing!

I have tried to find the simplest, most minimalist, most comfortable camera strap for years and this is the best one I ever owned. The feel is amazing, it's incredibely lightweight and still feel strong. Being used to small leather or rope straps, I was worried I would find it too large but it's also very slim and takes virtually no space in my bag. Having a camera with flat mount, I always found the other straps to be bulky and not great looking, but Simplr found the best, simplest way of connecting.

I THOUGHT I needed a camera strap with disconnectors. When actually, I just had an overweight camera strap, and the connectors were one more reason I wanted to REMOVE it. No more carrying a strap, and a wrist strap, plus a bag to carry whatever strap I wasn't using. Now I just have a camera and an F1, and want for no more. Thank you SIMPLR for putting my camera gear on a much needed diet!

I had previously bought an Ultralight F1 strap for my Fuji X100V and was quite pleased with it. When I recently acquired a Fuji XPRO-3, I decided the larger strap would be better. It turns out to be perfect for this camera and I'm quite happy with it. I looked at a lot of straps before deciding on the Simplr straps and, yes, other straps may be "cooler" or "hipper" or more stylish but the value of this strap can't be beat. I've been an outdoor/event photographer for 40+ years and have used many straps. This is THE best strap for the money out there.

I've purchased and owned two F1 straps previously and was well acquainted with the amazing quality and ease of use of Simplr camera straps, so it wasn't even an option that I would NOT consider the F1 ultralight when I picked up an x100v. Having the strap affixed to my camera without any quick release mounts means it sits at the perfect level when I wear it "necklace style" which I'm finding is my preferred style for the x100v. But you can just as effortlessly pull the strap to carry it sling style in 2 seconds.

An observation between the F1 vs F1 ultralight: what I like about the F1is that you can loop it into itself for a rudimentary wrist strap, but the F1 ultralight hardware doesn't allow for the same practice due to its smaller size. However, the method of tying the F1 ultralight into a loose knot (as suggested by the product photo) does the job to serve as quick wrist strap if you feel like changing up how you carry.

Quick adjustment, high quality, and lightweight. The size is very suitable for mirrorless cameras. I investigated in a competing product also with quick adjustment, but it looks like wearing a parachute or seatbelt. Yes you can find many cheaper straps, but the F1 is a neck strap, sling strap, and wrist strap all in one.

I originally contacted Simplr via Instagram to inquire about changing to the new rings for my Castor Gray F1 ... but then I saw the Wolf Gray was back -- and, yeah, I had to spend the $42, as this color is just too sweet paired with my all black X-Pro 3.

In recent months, I've been mostly using my Hyperion strap for its comfort and simplicity. But I have to say, the F1 is making a return as my go-to. It's somehow ridiculously light but also sturdy. And the adjustment from sling to neck to wrist is clutch. Phenomenal design.

The actual strap is great. The thickness is good and quality seems sturdy. It's the rings that you attach the strap to the camera with, that are way too small to get on there easily. And if you use a leatherman tool (like I finally did), you permanently mess the rings up. I bought this strap on the pretense that it was easy to install and that is simply not the case.

Simplr have put a lot of thought into the F1 Ultralight to incorporate seamless adjustability in a practical, minimalist design. Their attention to detail on seemingly small items such as length, width, stitching, materials, size of split rings and placement of the logo all contribute to a truly excellent strap. I've used the strap for nearly a month and it just gets out of the way unlike any other strap I've used. Very impressive and highly recommended.

I now have two Simplr straps. The F1 and the older M1. The M1 I use across a couple cameras, however I wanted a dedicated strap o for a Nikonos V, but have recently been using it as a cross body strap for an F5 for which it is surprisingly comfortable. I am a big fan of the clean and simple design of the Simplr strap.

Every photographer knows how important camera straps are, but it is very hard to find a good one. I believe all camera straps should be made like this F1. Functional, strong, minimal and good looking. Yes, it is nice to look at. It is not bulky and has no metal part to damage the surface of my camera in my bag. Thoughtful design.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this strap when I ordered it but was pleasantly surprised. It's well made, lightweight, versatile, minimal, and nice to look at it. I actually planned to pair my camera with a strap that was "higher end" to go better with the body but there is no denying the functionality of this strap. Great strap that is efficient and made simple. For street and travel it packs great, can be slung, hung, and wristed, and has no unnecessary hardware to damage you camera. Great idea and easy to use... very satisfied. None of the drama from clamp adjustment on Peak Designs, or ensuring the metal isn't rubbing your nice camera in the bag... this does the same thing with less bling.

I absolutely love this strap! Flat-mount fits my Konica Hexar af perfectly and provides light yet super strong support for one of my favorite point and shoot cameras! I prefer the longer sling style position and this strap adjusts to that position easily! I have the other Simplr straps as well...all work beautifully!

I thought I was satisfied with my Peak Design leash strap, until I put on the F1ultralight. Simplr split rings are smoother and don't catch on the lugs, and there are no anchors to snag on either. I use the strap on a FujiFilm X100V, which it suits well. I didn't realize how l little I needed the versatility of the Peak Design strap with the X100V specifically. It is a small fixed lens camera, and the strap fits it perfectly, without excess, as promised. The materials and construction give me confidence it will serve for the life of the camera.

My F1 is everything I wanted tor my Fuji xt30. I first ordered a Simplr wrist strap a year or so ago...what a terrific strap for street photography no bulk at all and extremely comfortable. When hiking I needed 2 hands free for safety measures. That's when I researched shoulder straps. Simplr made it to the top of my list.
I wanted a strap that was light weight, adjustable and most of all and not to get in the way of my camera controls.
Now I have the perfect strap.
I am a professional photographer shooting events, weddings, sports , and family portraits for over 35 years. I don't take my professional Canon cameras for travel or street shoots. I feel it's too risky for breakdowns and too bulky.

The strap is wonderful for all the reasons others have mentioned: simple functional design, no bulky hardware, tasteful aesthetics, quality materials. However, I want to elaborate on my experience with the clever quick adjustability feature, since that was the primary reason I was willing to pay the premium price.

I typically keep the strap diagonally across my chest with the camera tucked against my back above the hip. The F1 design lets me keep the strap short and then pull the loop to lengthen it for easier shooting, but in my experience the loop is usually behind my shoulder, which can be slightly awkward to reach (I'm a skinny 5' 10" male, so I like to tighten the strap almost all the way). Once I do grab the loop it's very easy to lengthen the strap. However, it's somewhat difficult to quickly tighten the strap to get the camera tucked away securely again. I can't easily use the loop to tighten the strap because of how the camera's weight pulls though the strap hardware. Instead, I need to find the "inner" layer of the strap to pull through the hardware, let the weight of the camera pull the strap through the D-ring to "reset" the strap, and repeat once or twice more.

I want to emphasize that the strap is wonderful and it's far superior to any other I've used. If you don't plan on constantly adjusting the strap length like I do, then these nitpicks won't be an issue at all. Even though the adjustment feature isn't quite as effortless as I had hoped, I've adapted quickly and find myself adjusting the length on the fly. The wrist strap feature is great too, especially to keep things tidy in the camera bag. I have no regrets about buying the F1, I've recommended it to friends, and I intend to use it until a new version comes out.

Here's why this strap really works for me: I love bike photography. By that I don't mean I like taking photos of bikes (although that would also be true...) What I mean is that I'm often shooting while riding my bike or stopping to put a foot down and take a shot. I like on-the-move photography, and I take my camera EVERYWHERE. So, I needed a sling strap to ride with the camera securely slung around my back. I needed it to quickly adjust to a longer strap so I could put the camera to my eye without taking the strap off. I also needed to it be comfortable and not give me rope burn while riding. The F1 strap does all of those things really well. I doubt I'll ever use a different type of strap.

I really wanted to like this strap. The craftsmanship and buying experience was great. I had a few issues with the design though. The material used was rougher and more coarse than seat belt material which feels and slides across your body better. When ordering, I was drawn to the use of one adjustment point instead of 2. In practice, I had it's flaws. I found it somewhat difficult to shorten the strap. Also, the adjustment point would often fall behind my shoulder making it difficult to adjust further. It's location also constantly caught on a backpack I was wearing while hiking. Last, the implementation of the hand strap fell just short. It's a GREAT idea. It did work well in practice too. Was surprised me was the sizing of the D rings that you feed the strap through for this configuration. They were smaller enough than the strap that it wasn't seamless to slide it through. The strap had to be folded over ever so slightly to fit. I found this difficult to do while holding my camera with the other hand. All of these complaints are rather minor but for a $45 piece of nylon, they should have been tested and considered. That said, there are clearly plenty of people that didn't have such issues so maybe it's just me.

I'd previously bought the M1a kit bundle for my two cameras and really liked the flexibility. When I upgraded one to a pro camera I decided to try the F1 strap... and I love it. The strap is the same lightweight, strong material with the added versatility of the quick adjust tab, as well as the simple conversion to a secure hand strap. I'm now thinking of buying a second to have as permanent fixtures on my main cameras.

I've been a Photographer since the mid-80's and have always looked for the right strap/camera combo for each camera and this is perfect for my Fuji x100V. I love ability to switch from neck to cross body. It's unobtrusive and the narrower strap toward the camera end doesn't cause it to get in the way while shooting. My search for the perfect camera strap may very well be over now. I still haven't figured out if I want a wrist strap, neck strap or sling style strap, but maybe that's okay, because the Simplr F1 suits all needs. It is versatile, looks great on my Fuji X100V and X-Pro3, strong, and does not get in the way. Furthermore, once attached (which, granted, can be a bit of a pain), it does not need any additional rubbers or o-rings to protect your camera. I love it and can really recommend it.

That's definitely the best strap I've had, even though I used others, some from more famous brands. This one is light but solid, the color is nice, and it can quickly be adjusted. I also love the fact that you can turn it easily in a wrist strap, which made me buy it : two in one. (Three actually, because you can also use it as a shoulder strap...). After installing the first F1 camera strap, I knew right away that it was going to work out. It has. Easy to grip, firm with the camera body, yet when I pack it away, it doesn't get caught on anything. I currently having two cameras, so I bought a second F1. If it matters, I'm currently using a Canon A-1 and a Canon AE-1 Program as backup. When I get the next camera, I'll probably get another Simplr F1 too.

The strap that came with my XT4 sat in the way too much around the shutter button with all its clumpy flaps and lugs. This Simplr strap with its tiny rings give much more clearance and I can access the shutter button easily now. The adjustable slider is a feature I only started to appreciate after trying it in real life, but it contributes a lot to its usability. I preferred the minimalist (but effective) design of the F1 over the Peak Design concept.

The F1 is amazing for all applications but I love to use it when hiking. It tightens easily and I can quickly loosen it to swing the camera around and get the shot. I have yet to try it when riding my bike but I am sure that it will be just as great!

A quick shout-out to Simplr about their F1ultralight strap: I wear a camera everyday, never wanting to miss a moment, currently the strap is attached to a Sony A7C mated to a Zeiss 55/1.8, so it's of moderate weight. I've tried just about every strap, most are too complicated, or too bulky. I just wanted a modern version of the old manufacturers' straps of the 80's, something relatively lightweight, thin, supple and easily adjustable. Why adjustable? I carry the strap cross chest, and usually under a decent jacket here in Alaska, and it has to be easily swung from my left hip up to the eye, then re-stowed under the jacket. This is where the Sony factory straps fail, they're nice and thin but, they're made with a sticky pad sewn in and that stops them *sliding* over your shoulder. The F1ultralight is perfect in this regard, it slides freely over the shoulder and chest. Why adjustable? Many of us shoot video too, and for that, a shorter strap is often required if you use it as a neck brace viewing the LCD screen whilst pushing the camera forward as you film. Unlike some of the other straps, there is very little hardware to clatter around against the camera when filming, this is a huge plus to my mind! Great product AND the company are very responsive to your suggestions over on Instagram, that's very refreshing in today's day and age.

The F1 straps are simple and perfect for the ways in which I use my cameras. When I'm in town or on a walk, they're light and secure, and stay out of the way. If I'm on a long day hike or climb, they stow away easily in my climbing pack (and I can easily attach the strap's D-ring to my pack's shoulder straps via a carabiner/sling for backup). And the strap feels every bit as comfortable if I have long tele zoom attached. All in all, the straps do what they need to without any fuss or extras.

I recently purchased a full frame mirrorless camera and will be taking it on some long hikes. I was looking for a lightweight, comfortable and easily adjustable strap.

I first ordered a strap from Peak Designs called the Slide Lite which seemed to check all of the boxes. Once I tried that strap out I was overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time.

I had already been exposed to the Simplr strap through the beauty of Instagram marketing algorithms, so I decided to look a little deeper.

I finally pulled the trigger on the F1 as I really wanted as minimal of a setup as possible and the hardware on the other strap really annoyed me.

Upon receiving the strap I was blown away. I use a ton of ultralight backpacking gear and sew a little myself, meaning I know the material used and looked over the construction methods. This strap is a gram counters dream strap, but this is also bombproof.

The adjustment aspect is perfect. The strap is absolutely what I was looking for. The only drawback with this strap is permanent nature of having no quick releases, but the thin material makes it easy to wrap a few times around your tripod on windy days to stop and negative effects it could cause.

I recently splurged and bought a new Fuji X100V. I wanted a strap that would stay out of the way. It also had to be detachable. Over the last 3 years I have been shunning straps that can't be removed and reattached quickly. So the M1a by Simplr was my first choice. On my heavier camera/lens combos (X-T3 & X-H1) I use another popular brand for quick release. But those were not aesthetically pleasing, and the connectors were large and in the way, on something as petite as the X100V. I love the clean lines of the M1a, and all of Simplr's products. JP and I have corresponded before and he is invested in your happiness. The M1a does the job, with the least amount of fuss. It folds into my small bag even when attached and can be stowed in a pocket with ease. It compliments the lines of the camera and has been sewn with an obvious attention to design and purpose, It looks good, and works well. Simple, elegant, and secure.

Having evaluated all the options, tried a couple of alternatives, this is such a good match for the Fuji x100v. It’s super neat, can make a quick improvised wrist leash for occasional use. It adjusts quickly between over the shoulder and standard neck strap. I like the size and the small attachment points that are unobtrusive when handling the camera. It’s strong secure and the texture is not too slippery, a great match. I like to buy from small independent companies wherever I can so this is an added bonus.

I never thought I could like a strap so fast but the F1 has blown me away with its adjustability, versatility, lightweight, and insane level of comfort around my hand. It’s the perfect connection point for my two Leica Ms. As a working photographer I have tried almost every single strap over the last 30 years. Stretchy ones, grippy ones, short ones, long ones, leather ones, even several I made myself. One of the most difficult problems was having to decide between a sling, neck, or wrist. They all have their place and on any given day I’d want all three at some point. Well now I do! I’d almost given up all together opting to carry my cameras naked a lot of the time but the F1 solves all my issues. The quality of build, attention to detail, and overall functionality put all my other (and in many cases much more expensive) straps to shame. Simplr, you rule....I’ll spread the word.

I had tried three camera straps for my Fujifilm X-T30 and had to return two because I could not get the straps attached to the camera very well. When I found the F1 strap online, read the reviews, and looked at the video on how to attach it, I thought, Ok. I'll try it. I am extremely pleased with this strap. It is comfortable, sleekly designed, and I was able to attach it to my camera, although it took a while. I am a grandma and my fingers are not very nimble anymore. My camera has very tiny holes for straps, but I kept going back to the video and trying. Voila. I finally did it. I like wearing it around my neck, but I also know that if I sling it over one shoulder, it will also be quite comfortable. If anyone is searching for a quality built strap with an understated design and a logical way to attach to the camera, this is the one. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this to replace the cheap lanyard on my handheld radio. It is made of quality materials and I don't worry that the strap is going to come loose to separate. I only wish it were a little shorter. Not much more else to say, it gets the job done!

I've been curious about these for a while now, so when the chance to pick up a blem F1 rolled around I jumped on it. I've been using it for a few weeks with my Nikon SP and here are a few things I've noticed:
-If you're coming from non-adjustable straps it will take a little bit to get used to multiple layers of webbing. I found myself getting confused which side of the strap I was picking up. Once you adjust to this, it's a total nonissue and don't write it off if this frustrates you.
-I don't adjust it a ton most of the time, but being able to cinch it down when slung across my back is GOLD for active stuff (biking, hiking, climbing, chasing kids down, etc).
-Figuring out which side you want to orient the strap to takes some experimentation. We're all different!
-The wrist strap use is amazing, and it's also a great way to tidy things when you are storing your camera on a shelf or in a cabinet!

Overall, I'm quite pleased with my F1. If you're on the fence about one just get it--it's absolutely worthwhile!

I like almost everything with the F1 camera strap. Looks great, feels great and doesn’t slip as some of the other straps I have used in the past. The feature to double up as a wrist strap is genius, IMHO! My only gripe is that the rings seem to be a tad too small to install easily. They were constantly slipping from my fingers as I attempted to get a good grip on them and simultaneously widen them enough to slide through the camera mounts. It’s crazy how difficult it is to find a camera strap like this. Just a strap, not made of leather and brass trying to be some male lifestyle garbage. It feels perfectly proportioned to my Ricoh GRIII in both style and function. My only request would be to make an F1 series, non-removable wrist strap. For something like a GRIII, I’m not going to be using a neck strap making the buckle unnecessary. Small refinement but what else can you do when it’s just webbing and plastic hardware.

I bought a Fujifilm XT-3 and wanted non-leather strap to use with it.
When finding your straps online and looking at your product videos, I was pretty sure the F-1 would be the appropriate choice for my new camera. And I found that to be the case. I especially like the ability to make it a hand strap. I also wanted something lighter weight and flexible.

I've been shooting with my Simplr F1 strap for a few weeks now, and I'm completely in love with it. The single length adjustment tab is quicker and easier to use than a traditional camera strap that has length adjustments on both sides, and I frequently switch between using the F1 as a wrist strap for extra security while casually carrying my camera in my hand, to a short neck strap to free up both hands while switching lenses, to a cross-body sling for extended periods of hands-free carrying. The F1 has low-profile lug mounts, and takes up almost no space when it's rolled up as a wrist strap, which allows for easy storage of a camera with the strap still attached, and eliminates the need for a quick-release system, in my opinion. This adds a bit of extra simplicity to my setup that I really enjoy: I can pull my camera out of my bag (by the strap, if I'm pressed), loop it around my wrist, and be ready to shoot, instead of having to pull my Peak Design strap out from a pocket in my bag and attach each side of the quick release system before feeling safe to take my hands off my camera. My ONLY complaint is that when I ordered it, I expected the strap to be about a quarter of an inch wider than it turned out to be, but that's on me for not checking the dimensions before ordering, and it's still a wide enough strap to match well with mirrorless bodies, even larger ones like my Panasonic G9.

I've tried a couple different straps from more well-known brands before finding the Simplr F1. In my opinion, this is far and away the best match to my Leica Q2. It is a minimalist and functional. It carries the heft of the Q2 very well, can be quickly and easily adjusted, weighs almost nothing, and packs down very small. It is everything I need and nothing I don't and it looks great. And the construction and materials are excellent! Personally, I think this is a good value for the prices, but then again I bought a Leica so I may not be the best judge of that... Haha, either way, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this friends.

Love this camera strap. After buying many camera straps over the years I finally found the one! The versatility is the best. Can be used as a neck strap or cross body. First time I used it was on a 5 hr tour. I carried a Sony A7III with a Tamron 28-200 lens on it. You know something is great when you never have to think about it, you just use it and it work well. Super comfortable to wear and easy to adjust.

The F1 is perfect for a reasonably size camera like my Nikon FE. I only use modest sized prime lenses and the 1" webbing is plenty comfortable for the size and weight of my camera and lens. The ease of going from long sling strap to shorter neck strap to wrist strap is a huge advantage, and in wrist strap mode the camera slides in and out of a bag much easier. I was afraid that the strap would tend to slip off my shoulder but the webbing has enough texture to hold on well. The strap appears really well made and I like the understated appearance—I bought the gray strap which I think compliments my chrome camera nicely.

You cannot go wrong with this strap, especially when combined with the wrist strap. If you're like me, one day you want the cross body style strap, another day a neck strap, and then other times you simply (no pun intended) want a wrist strap. This works flawlessly and is extremely minimalistic. That's a perfect combination.

The F1 ultralight is a natural for my X100V. I've had the F1 on my X3 for several years and it works great so this was a no brainier. I especially like the fact that there is no bulk from the strap where it attaches to the camera, thus giving you a better grip. The adjustable length gives you the option of full sling style or just over the neck.

The “tightening and loosening” action is as smooth as I had hoped, it isn’t really a one handed operation like the short video shows. It constantly twists, although most straps do. I think it’s way too expensive for what is... I used it for a trip to the mountains, it was fine. I prefer my old stiffer leather strap. It’s probably just preference at the end of the day. I do wish the action was smoother.

I purchased this to go with my Fuji x100v. The simple aesthetic is really great and unassuming. The strap is nearly weightless which is great for travelling, and makes it the perfect match for a small camera you want to carry around all day. The simple design also never gets in the way of holding and shooting pictures which is incredibly important especially for shooting quickly on the street. The length adjustments are also quick and effortless. The strap seems very well made and despite the incredibly light weight I'm never concerned about the safety of my camera. Highly recommended.

Over the last few years I've become a massive Simplr fan. Started with an M1a, graduated to an F1, and now I've got the F1ultralight on my brand new X100v. Of all the Simplr straps I've had this one is the most unique and specialized. I don't think anyone else is making anything close. For me, when street shooting, having a strap that's easy to adjust is important. To be honest, that's not hard to find, but what makes the F1ultralight unique is the lightness, thin-ness, and high stealth factor combined with that adjustability. There's nothing shiny or fancy about it, but it's really well made. Also very comfy. I'm confident it's the last strap I'll buy for my X100V and then I will move it over to my future X100Z or whatever they call the next one.

I recently purchased the Simplr F-1 camera strap in Army Green. I originally bought it because I liked the way it looked in the photo, but when it actually arrived I really like it for a number of other reasons. Obviously, the quick easy adjustment is one of the great features. But what I really liked was that it was very lightweight, strong, and could easily be stuffed down into a smaller camera bag very quickly. Other leather straps you'd be gathering up and struggling to contain them. The F-1 is simple to put away, no pun intended. Turned out to be a great purchase.

I grabbed an F1 strap for a Zeiss Super Ikonta i’ve been shooting for a while now, and even though it’s not the worlds lightest camera, the simplr strap is super comfy slung across shoulder...and this coming from someone who has had shoulder reconstructive surgery from an accident years ago!!! I absolutely love everything about this strap. It’s simplicity..ease of use..design...even the logo. I know it shouldn’t matter to me, but thought in design is something that appeals to me, from the buckles, to the color of the straps, to the logo. I like the look of this strap as much as I like using it.

And don’t even get me started on customer service. I buggered up a split ring trying to spread it over something I shouldn’t have, and when I asked if I could purchase a replacement, JP dropped a pack in the mail. The customer service isn’t so much that, as it is just dealing with a one “real” person operation.

I will be back for more straps!!!

Having been a huge fan of their M1 series and the original F1 strap, I saw this new model from SIMPLR and had to give it a try; I was extremely glad that I did. While I love the M1 series for their detachable lug straps, some cameras ask for a more anchored strap and the F1ultralight exceeds my expectations. It combines the best elements of the M1 and the F1 straps into a very slim, strong, and wonderful package.

The purpose of the F1ultralight is to allow you to quickly dial in your preferred length and forget it. Its lightweight design collapses very easily into a camera bag or simply wraps around your hand as a quick wrist strap, and the strap hardware is very durable and polished. Most camera straps are incredibly bulky, whether the straps themselves, or the hardware used, but the every aspect of the F1ultralight strap is made for everything you need, nothing more.

Perfect for fixed-lens cameras like the X100 and RX1 series or interchangeable mirrorless cameras with prime lenses. While the M1 series is excellent for cameras with small or shallow lugs, such as RX100 series or the Ricoh GR series of cameras, the F1ultralight provides a bit more stability while not compromising on bulk for any camera with a split-ring lug design. It is especially well-suited for Fuji lugs, which in recent years have incorporated an extra piece on the inside to increase the longevity of the lug, but also have a side-effect of being a bit scratchy on non-metal strap connections. However, zero worries with the F1ultralight.

I ordered two F1 straps recently. Today I attached one to my X-T30 and I'm extremely happy with it.

The strap is unassuming (branding is on the inside of the strap!), light, flexible and is very well made. It's really confortable and I love the fact that it is narrow at both ends and doesn't have any bulky elements there, close to the camera, like PeakDesign straps have. This makes it very easy to hold the camera both horizontally and vertically, while wearing the camera strapped diagonally across the chest.

I purchased an F1 strap for my Fuji X-Pro 3 and wow. This is easily the most comfortable and versatile strap I have bought. Unlike my high end leather camera straps, the F1 is incredibly lightweight, not bulky, and easily wraps around your wrist.

Where it really shines is when it’s worn as a sling across your chest. The mechanism to make the strap tighter or looser is absolutely perfect and works without any issues. If anything I wish Simplr offered a wider version for larger/heavier camera bodies.

The F1 was worth every penny... it’s absolutely perfect, especially when traveling.

The design of the F1 strap looked ideal for my Olympus mirrorless camera, so I decided to give it a try after being disappointed by other well-known brands. I must say it was "love at first sight" as soon as I attached it to the camera and started using it. I like the great quality, the lightweight hardware that won't scratch my camera, the clean terminations, the fact that it takes minimal space in my bag, the easy adjustability, the green color, and of course, the overall simplicity of the design.

Although the width of the strap in perfect for my E-M1 MkII, I think a wider one would be better for the full-frame crowd. I hope all the necessary components are available off-the-shelf, so you can make it.

Bottom line: after being a photo enthusiast for fifty years, this is the best strap I have ever used, by a good margin. Probably the best strap in the world. It's that simple!

I recently bought THREE straps, looking for the perfect one. I returned two and kept this one from Simplr. What I liked about this one compared to the others is primarily that there is not a thick looped strap getting in the way of my controls and my screen when I need to look down at my LCD or make adjustments. There's significant room between the lugs on the camera and the buckles where the strap becomes thick so that it doesn't get in the way. It also has a sliding—I don't know what it's called—clasp(?) that keeps the portion of the strap that has to be doubled up for adjustability tight. It looks like the lug mount version of the F1 does the same thing, but I often use a tripod for video and being able to quickly detach the strap is great. The detachable clips are also smaller than competitors. My only wish is that the material of the strap was a bit smoother. Another competing brand uses a very nice and more comfortable material on the strap- I'd love to see Simplr step up to that seatbelt-like material.

I’ve been using the peak design slide lite, it’s an excellent strap but the strap gets in the way when I shoot or when storing it in my bag. Then I heard about simplr straps, I bought the F1 for my Fujifilm and it’s more than what I expected. It doesn’t feel cumbersome or in the way, it can easily fold or roll up in my peakdesign 3L everyday bag without taking a lot of space like my old peak design strap. It’s simple, clean and it just works! Thank you Simplr for making an excellent camera strap!!

Had the F1 for a few months now, and this is a great camera strap! It's attached to my Fuji X-E3 with Peak Design quick release, and it all wears very comfortably. The strap feels nice and light, but very sturdy. Love the little raised thread that helps lock the strap loop ends in place, what a clever and effective design.

Maybe it's just the size of my torso, but the part of the strap you pull on to adjust the length sits too high up and behind my shoulder when I'm wearing it sling style. Like I have to push my camera back behind me a little bit first to get to the adjuster, pull the adjuster, and then I swing my camera back in front of me. Or maybe if I take the plunge and do away with the quick release, I'll have the length for the adjuster to sit more in front of me.

In any case, I really like this strap, and you might too.

The strap doesn’t seem like much, but it certainly stick to the promise, being a camera strap and doing what it’s supposed to.

I just plain love it. Easy adjustment, and love that I can let the strap run through the D-rings, and then becoming a wrist strap.

Don’t rely on all the positive ratings. Just buy it.

Strength was of paramount importance to me, but I loathe bulky straps. The simplr strap meets all my criteria. What I love about the strap is that it can be shortened and lengthened with ease.

I purchased 2 F1 straps from JP a while back. The olive/green and a red strap.
The olive strap has seen a lot of use paired up with Fujifilm XT3 and has not shown fraying neither signs of wear after a long period of usage.
JP has been highly considerate and attentive towards any queries and I am highly satisfied with the product received.
My opinion is that there is honesty in the straps he produces, being highly durable to the extent one may never need to repurchase a strap from him once a strap is bought.
The red strap is a looker and although I have paired with an XT20 it has not seen much use. It’s my favourite by far of the two.

I purchased the F1 straps and was using it for more than a year with my Fujifilm and Sony cameras. This is a great quality light weight camera strap. I am sure this is strong since I have use it with my Sony A7III with a heavy zoom lens. Another thing I like is there are no metal pieces that might scratch my camera when I put the camera in a bag with the strap. I also like how easy to adjust the length of the strap. I absolutely love this strap and will only buy this strap with the new cameras I am planning to buy very soon.

I read a review of the F1 on a Fuji-related blog and realized this was the strap I'd been hoping to find. I now have them on three Fujifilm cameras (X-E2, X-Pro2, X-T3) and absolutely love the way they feel and function. For many years I'd used Domke straps on my Nikon gear but increasingly found them annoying when working in tight circumstances. Looked at other options but did not want anything complicated, hipster-esque, or (god forbid) that made me look like a wannabe gunslinger. It's great to have the option to carry one or two cameras cross-body and to easily lengthen or shorten the strap at will. So happy to have found this perfect strap, and I have already recommended Simplr to friends!

This is an amazing camera strap. The nylon is incredibly soft and smooth and adjusts easily on the go. The nylon does not get kinks in it as with many other camera straps. It is almost unbelievable how lightweight and comfortable this strap is.

Best strap I've had. Light and versatile but sturdy. Before I didn't like to keep strap attached on my camera unless I really needed it (Long walks or hikes etc.)
But this stays on all the time.
Definitely better than Black Rapid or PD. Don't get me wrong, those are excellent straps too but get in the way or take too much space when you don't really need them.
Simplr straps will be my number one option from now on. Highly recommended!

The name says it all, a simple strap! just need to take note of the direction of the strap when attaching the strap since i accidentally attached it facing the wrong way twoce, but after some careful planning was able to attached it with no problems. It looks sturdy and is loads better than the original strap from my fuji xt30. Emailed the owner with questions regarding if the lug would scratch the camera body and he quickly helped me. Good service and good item! keep up the good work, and maybe a free rubber oring would be great for the package! would definitely consider sinplr when i need another strap

I picked up two F1 lug mount straps and an M1 wrist strap in October. Five minutes ago, I picked up two more F1 lug mount straps. I have tried practically every strap in the business, and these are simply the best. The F1 has fantastic build quality (soft but robust nylon material that packs easily and keeps its shape), a brilliantly designed adjustment mechanism (smooth and fast) and overall good looks (tasteful with only discrete branding). The F1s complement my Fuji cameras so well and never get in the way like so many other straps.

What a great strap the F1 is. It arrived quickly in a very unassuming package. Great quality and very comfortable to wear. The perfect compliment to my X100f. I don’t even know I’m wearing it and thanks to the design of the piece between the strap and the camera lugs, it does not ever get in the way while taking photos. Something that the clunky strap fasteners on my previous Peak Design strap did. It’s junk compared to the Simplr Strap. Exceptional.

And btw very strong as I got into a tugging match with someone who wanted to grab my camera while I was taking photos. I thought for sure it was going break. Nope.

Only gripe, I wish there was more colours.

If you're looking for a lightweight and ultra-minimalist strap, there is no doubt that the F1 for you. I was a longtime user of Peak Design leash, but was always often frustrated with the clunkiness of the metal mechanisms that connect the strap to the camera; these were especially annoying when shoving my camera quickly into my bag, since the metal would often grind against the side of my camera. The F1 has proven to be an ideal replacement, since it is equally quick-adjusting, but has absolutely no added bulk. Highly Recommended!

Great little rings! Just the right size, no rough edges, and they give a real feeling of being very secure on the camera. Yes, they are a bit difficult to get on. I open them a bit first with a thin-bladed knife, then open them a bit more with a small screwdriver to assist the process and to avoid scratching my lugs while installing.

Just thought I'd mention this for those using a Fujifilm camera.
Removing the lug inserts, so as to not need the metal rings, is much easier
than some of the online reviews suggest.

The F1 is an awesome strap. I transitioned from a somewhat rigid leather strap on my Fuji X-E2, which I usually shoot with the lightweight 35 f2 lens. This strap has made quick street shots 10x easier, as you can wear the camera sling-style and pull the tab to lengthen it immediately. After shooting you can tighten it back up and it doesn't swing all over the place. I'm really excited to try it out for concert photography soon where having your camera close to your body is important but so is versatility with quick shots. Really loving this product.

I have been highly pleased with the M1a SIMPLR strap that I bought for a very retro Fujifilm X100 camera in silver. When released the X100, like the SIMPLR strap, received positive reviews for thoughtful design and outstanding performance. Like the X100, it was the beginning of a dynasty. But reviews are just talk. What blew me away was: the real softness of the strap, no rough edges or protrusions to wear away the finish of my beloved ‘antique’ camera, the ease of rapid adjustment (exactly as advertised), the awesomely strong quick-release connectors that make temporary removal a breeze, and how little space the strap takes up in my camera case. Absolutely nothing is present that doesn’t need to be and everything that IS necessary is present front and center. Purchase was, as you would expect, simple and the strap was shipped promptly. My only complaint is that the hard shell plastic packaging was difficult to open, but a little C4 explosive solved that (just kidding - I think). I bought my strap in Camo Green; if I had to replace it, I would choose the Castor Gray color.

I Have F1 in green on my Fuji X-T20. Perfect size, strong and very well made! The pull tab to lengthen the strap is great, but when I shorten the strap to wear around my neck with the camera on my chest, it takes quite a reach around your neck to find and pull the tab!
I like the split rings but my 87 year old arthritic hands needed something to help mount them on the Fuji lugs. I finally got them installed using an old staple remover to pry the rings apart.

I purchased the lug mount F1 Sling strap, a black one, for my Fuji X-H1 and was very pleased when I received it. Perfectly sized and great quality materials. I have had so many straps for my cameras, even beautiful -and expensive- leather ones, but each of them was always at some point in my way while shooting and I hated that.

This one seems to have been carefully designed for a light, practical but still secure use and it is easy to switch from slinging strap to a neck one and even go all the way down to a wrist strap... Awesome! The smaller rings attached to the strap are not the most easy to fit on the camera but it is just about 10 painful minutes until enjoying the fact that you don't need anymore additional pieces of plastic or leather to protect your camera body from eventual scratches. As announced on this website, you can indeed notice that the small rings have a stronger resistance from what you usually see with others; this should avoid any bad surprises for many years. That alone is also well worth the annoying 10 minutes to attach the strap to your body.

Really enjoying a lot this simple but very well though strap to my camera and will order another one, a red one this time, for my Fuji X-Pro2 too.

Good job guys, awesome product and not too expensive either which is another pleasant surprise.

I purchased the lug mount F1 Sling strap for my Fuji X100F and have found it to be a truly excellent strap.

It has a ton of length adjustment so you can carry your camera around your neck or you can extend the strap, making it long enough to wear cross-body with the camera resting under your hand at your side - protected from bumps and bangs when in a crowd and out of the way for a nicely inconspicuous carry. This is how I prefer to carry my camera when I'm out and about.

The price is well within reason and the F1 is made of durable, high quality materials and components. I highly recommend this camera strap and will be getting a couple more of them for my XPAN II and my M4-P. I would not change anything about the design of the F1 strap; it is near to perfection as is.

One thing I would like to see is more color options, though. I wanted some color in my strap but the red was too bright for me so I went with the olive green. I would great to see the folks at Simplr offer more color options such as royal blue (Zeiss and Hasselblad's color), kelly green (Fujifilm's color), yellow (Kodak's color) and orange and maroon to go along the red strap.

I now own the M1a and the M1w! Both are great! If I know I will be walking around for a long time but still want to have my camera handy, I will attach the M1a to the clips. If I'm just out and about for a short time, I clip on the M1w. That is the great thing about the Simplr system!

I saw the F1 strap on the FujiLove website and its simplicity and style really caught my attention. I previously had a "rope" style strap on my XT-3 which after a while felt uncomfortable. So I took the plunge and bought the grey F1 to complement the silver top of the camera. It feels great due to the increased width, is built extremely well and looks very cool indeed. I'm a great fan of "less is more" and this really ticks that box. It cost a further £15 in customs duty to import to the UK but it has been well worth it.

I just love the simplicity of the Simplr straps. Got them for two of my cameras, to compare with the Peak Design Slide Lite strap that I have on another camera, and these just do the job so much better, much lighter and pleasant to use.
Only downside is that they are a bit too "shiny" for my taste, but I guess that will wear off after some more use.

Its long enough to connect to my Capture Clip, but shortens up enough to use with smaller lenses on your chest. The strap is thin, flexible, soft but very strong. I wear this with my EM1.2 and 40-150 Pro fairly often and its just the perfect strap. Not bulky, not stiff, packs well and has held up very, very well over its 6 months of use. I do use oblong split rings to connect to the eyelets just to be safe, but wear is negligible and replacement QD loops are cheap. Fit and finish is top notch and to this day its the only camera strap ive used long term.

I have been using this daily on my X-Pro2 for about a month now. Functionally, it is perfect. Really, this is everything I ever wanted in a camera strap. I've been through several of the fashionable paracord/rope straps and they pale in comparison. If you are looking for function over form, this is the strap to have. I particularly like weaving it through itself and using it as a wrist strap.

I first became aware of Simplr when I read a review on the FujiLove site. I had been looking for a strap to replace the Peak Design Leash I had been using, to attach to a new quick-detach swivel connector on the camera. I emailed Simplr asking if I could order the F1 strap a little bit longer, and told JP, the owner, what I was trying to accomplish. He suggested altering the strap to connect it more directly to the swivel without hardware, and I immediately ordered one.

The strap is simplicity itself. Made of rugged materials, with no metal hardware that might scratch a camera. I adjusts easily and stays put after adjustment. And it looks great. I picked the black color, which fits perfectly with a black Fuji X-H1.

I can highly recommend Simplr for their products, their quality, and their willingness to work with their customer to tailor a strap to their needs.

I will be ordering Simplr straps for my other photo equipment soon.

With 40 years of taking pictures under my belt and over 20 cameras in use, I decided to try the Simplr F1 strap. My old favorites were from Tamrac and they were so overbuilt that even after 25 years they’re still in use I have and use custom straps from Gordy’s for some of my vintage cameras, a Monarch paracord strap, some newer Tamrac straps and some model specific straps from China that are dedicated to Rolleiflexes. I will never purchase a Peak design strap and will not attach any strap to the tripod mount and let it dangle around waist level. With that being said, my first Simplr F1 arrived in gray and immediately got attached to my Fujifilm XH-1. I travel frequently and I’m hiking outdoors a lot with a 100-400mm lens, a Rolleiflex and usually three other lenses. Weight, durability and comfort are all factors for me but so is space. The F1 strap is not only the lightest, it’s also the strongest strap I’ve used. It can also fold on itself and be reduced to nothing when packed in a camera bag or backpack. It's also void of any rivets or unnecessary metal in its construction which means that unnecessary scrapes and scratches caused by strap will be avoided. That’s important too, especially with an 85-year old vintage Leica camera whose value could be affected considerably. Yes, it’s also very comfortable. The strap is a near-perfect balance of form and function. It really is. I’ve now purchased three and the super-strong split rings built into the F1 strap to improve some of my other straps. If there was an option for a “neckpad” or a simple band of the same nylon webbing that served only to keep the straps together that would be great but without it, it’s still the best. You won’t be disappointed and even if you already like the strap you’re using, the Simplr straps will be great for a change of pace.

I have the F1 lug mount strap which I use on a Fuji X-T20. While agreeing with the other reviews, I would like to emphasise the facility that allows quick and effective adjustment of the length of the strap. This allows you to quickly switch between sling and neck depending on the situation and also to quickly adjust where the camera sits; hip, waist or chest. I find this invaluable when out and about in the field particularly in crowds. It’s is a very well thought through product.

The strap arrived just in time for me to travel to a wine region for the weekend. On inspection the strap is well made with plenty of stitching that is clean with no frills or dags, but provides plenty of strength where you need it.
After many tries to attach the strap to my Fuji X-T20 with the 18-55 lense, my fingers got quite sore trying to pry the rings open to the lugs. A tool to use and open up the rings would be a good value add I believe.
Otherwise, carrying the camera around and adjust the strap has been a breeze to use and given me so much more freedom is taking photos.
Still a great outcome for me.

I have a love/hate relationship with straps to the point where all I have used for the past year have been leather wrist straps from Gordy. But as functional as a wrist strap is, at some time or the other I find myself needing a neck strap. I thought the Peak Design straps and quick releases might work but found them too fiddly and bulky under hand close to the camera. I also distrust their attachment cords. They went back to Peak Design. The adjustable Artisan & Artist Easy Slider I got worked OK but was still a bit thick under the hand or over the hand when handling the camera. When I read Charlene Winfred's review of the F1 and looked at the photos, I thought it just might work for me. I ordered one and put it on my new X-T3. So far, it has exceeded all my expectations. It is simple, straightforward, strong, and extremely functional. The slider works as well or better than the old Artisan and Artist I have. Having the thinner straps as the connection to the camera cleans up the area around the right side, the right grip of the camera where most of the controls lie. I am going to leave the F1 on the X-T3 while I still have Gordy wrist straps on my X-E3, X-Pro2, and X-T2. It will take a bit longer to figure out which is going to work best for me. But if I have to have a longer, adjustable strap, the Simplr F1 is definitely the best I have found!

So far, my impressions are,
- Very lightweight. Quite a surprise since it's lighter than the Peak Design Leash v2
- Very, very compact, compared to the Peak Design Leash v2
- Design and build is robust, inspires confidence
- The way you have a thinner strap leading to a wider strap; this works really well. The strap stays out of my way when I grip the body, unlike the Artisan & Artist Easy Slider (ring attachment type) straps. This is what works on the Peak Design straps too.
- No metal design = no scratching. Even the custom O rings are sized correctly; it's difficult to contact the body when using the strap to hold up the camera.
- That O ring is gold. It's springy, it's got great tension, it's compact. Works even on an X100F sized body.
- Wrist strap "hack" works well

So far, it's very comparable to the Leash v2, which is my current favourite strap.

Only 1 thing bugs me but I need more time to see if this really turns into a bug; the thinner strap that attaches from the plastic D string to the custom metal O ring - it's made of a softer material that already has a tiny bit of fraying. Even the act of threading the O ring thru the camera lugs can result in a few strands breaking. And God forbid this touches velcro. I can understand why this is a preferred material - it's softer and very comfortable on the hands. Guess we can't have everything.

This F1 strap is terrific. I saw it on Palle Schultz You Tube where he was using it for video on an XT2 - so I tracked it down from the UK.
It's on an XT2. It beats having a ton of neoprene and plastic clips getting caught up on other straps and ending up like a black snake pit. Nothing to hook up on so when you take it out of your bag you get just the camera and not the binoculars, light meter, spare batteries etc... Then, you put it round your neck and it stays there not getting hooked on your jacket - Hey!
Almost Zen like - if you can apply that to a camera strap - beautifully made. One is not enough, the other cameras are getting fidgety !

I want to compliment you on the excellence of the F1 in every regard, from workmanship to the lighter weight, less bulk, and far more maneuverability than the Op-Tech straps I have been using for decades.

I am using the F1's with both of my Fuji X-T2 bodies and a variety of lenses including the 18-55mm and 90mm.

The F1 connectors (split rings) seem far more robust than the Op-Tech Mini QD loops on the M1's. I have those connectors for my X30, but that camera (with a fixed 27-112mm zoom lens) weighs less than a pound with battery and SD card.

This is a lovely strap and probably the most intuitive to adjust of any I've had. I'm using it on my A7 III and it's a joy to go from carrying the camera tight against my body to being ready to shoot instantly.

it's a very well thought out product and seemingly very well made. I don't anticipate I'll be changing it any time soon.

I also get a lot of compliments on the camo green color. It's my first Simplr strap, but not my last!

Less is more. I love this strap. I’ve been lugging my camera around remote western Alaska for the last several weeks and it’s been great. I don’t want to think about a damn strap. I just want it to work. The adjustment tab is great as I cycle through various layers of clothing as the weather changes every 15 minutes. Fleece and raingear and T-shirt’s.

Simple. Clean. No snags. Understated on the street and rugged for a professional environment. It just works.

Everything is a bit more streamlined compared to the already incredibly sleek M1a, and the little keeper plastic tab is gone. For me, the new adjustment tab is a marked improvement as the straps are now attached from the underside at only a single point, rather than two. This allows the other side to loosely swing, be less rigid and makes adjustments a bit quicker. The D rings are also a bit sleeker, which is a subtle change but it makes all the hardware in line with each other in terms of proportions.

Overall, this is my new favorite. I have purchased M1a’s for all my favorite cameras and a few more for friends, but I might start amassing some F1's.

If you have a street camera or keeping things small on your mirrorless, this is a no brainer–the best in the industry.

I got this strap while I was in searching for something mobile and inconspicuous. Something I can take off the camera when I need to use dual wielding strap. I now have the loops on all my main cameras and I can choose to use the strap which ever camera I'm taking. It's very light and compact. I got a blue one but now I'm thinking I want something else. I may pick some more with different colour.

May not be all fancy like leather straps, but this has a character and very unique in its way. Also being very mobile, which was big for me.

My previous strap was Peak Design leach and cuff, which were great also. But I like this QD loops are lighter and smaller, makes less noise banging towards the camera.

Best camera strap I have ever owned — What I like best about this strap is how easy it is to detach the strap from the connectors. I use my camera for underwater photography and the camera fits into the housing even with connectors still attached. It's a small thing, but it is a huge convenience factor when going from underwater to topside photography.

The perfect complement to my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mk II, both functionally and aesthetically. It's compact and lightweight, with loads of easy adjustability and no metal to attack the camera's finish. The quick release loops make removal a snap and were easy to attach (although I may at some point heed the advice of the how-to and swap out my triangular split rings for circular). The strap and hardware feel solid, and the clean, utilitarian design plays well with the Oly's retro vibe. Time will tell how comfortable it is over long carries but as of right now I have no complaints.

For my X-Pro2 I had a nice silk strap prior to the Simplr strap. Unfortunately reading the menus at such a close range as a short strap allowed became troublesome. I began the search for a longer adjustable strap and came across the Simplr. Super small and lightweight. The quick disconnects are great to deal with and adjustment is very easy with the strap. The ease of swapping between a full length strap and wrist strap rounds up positives. I've not experienced any issues at all.

These Mini QD Loops are the best I have used!! I wanted to use my favorite lightweight strap on more than one camera — so this set of 4 worked perfect. After purchasing the M1a and M1w, I believe that I have finally found the perfect combination. Sometimes I want/need a neck strap, sometimes I want/need a wrist strap, and the quick connect clips make it simple to switch from one to the other on my Fujifilm X100F. Lightweight, easy to adjust, comfortable. What more could someone ask from a neck strap and wrist strap combination. Although these are aimed at mirrorless cameras, I’m considering ordering some more to use with my smaller film SLRs (Minolta XD-11, Nikon FM3a) and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on my Canon 6D. Had a small issue with one of the connectors, Simplr responded almost instantly and took care of the problem. Highly recommend. Now if I could just figure out what to do with all these other straps that are laying around.

Couple this with essentially no branding, makes this strap a current favorite of mine. I only wish I knew about this company when they were producing the strap in camouflage. I wouln't hesitate to buy another if they brought this back. 😉

I had until recently been using a wrist strap with my camera as I had yet to find the ideal minimal neck strap. Well I have have now found it in the Simplr M1a strap! I love the build quality combined with its quiet look - it doesn't shout out a name (in fact the only branding is a small Simplr logo which when the camera is hanging round my neck sits on the inside - brilliant!). It folds down easily making it quick to pack down into my bag. For me it's the best camera accessory I have ever purchased.

Dont get me wrong....I still love my Peak Design Leash but holy s**t this thing has taken lightness and smallness to a whole new level....lighter with smaller connectors....and no metal.

I bought both Simplr straps a few weeks ago (M1a & M1w) and I’ll make this short: They are very light and that’s what I was looking for. My main camera is Fujifilm X-T2 and these straps are perfect fit for it. I’m thinking of buying the wrist strap for my Ricoh GRii now.

I’m new to photography but love well-made, beautiful products. So naturally, I went with a black X100F and got the Simplr strap to accompany it. The coyote colorway looks awesome.

As a designer professionally I can get a little overly picky about products, so take my comments with a grain of salt, but there are a few things about the Simplr strap that I think could improve.

While the webbing used is bomb-proof, and may relax/soften in time, brand new, the edge is stiff, and can irritate your neck after a short period of time. I’ve remedied that with my shirt or jacket collar for now. I also think the smaller transition webbings are too long and I’d like a hardware piece there for adjustment. Lastly, while made in the US, the price is still too high. I’m keeping my strap, I love it, but I bought it understanding I was supporting a small brand, that was hustling to make great product, and I’m into that. That said, the price needs to drop in time in my opinion.

4/5 stars for a well-made, not overly designed strap, that looks great, and perfectly compliments my camera.

Fantastic product, just what I was looking for. Very quick and easy to connect and remove the strap and the connection system is very secure. I love that it uses plastic hardware, no metal buckle to scratch my camera if I put it back in the bag in a hurry. A very well thought out product, I would recommend this to anybody!

Love the fact that I can use this as part of the system and decide if I want a full camera strap or a wrist strap on the fly. Don't like the fact that the webbing on the wrist strap is very narrow, would have preferred something a little wider.

Over the past few months, I have become a shameless Ricoh GR II fanboy.

The camera is fantastic – yet to move confidentially around on the streets of a big city as a hobbyist photographer, a sturdy though minimalist wrist strap is in order, one that is not bulky and overpriced.

The M1w mirrorless wrist strap serves as an ideal complement to the deliberate no-frills approach of the Ricoh GR II. And … the fact that the strap has an easy detachable function really clinches the deal.

In a word, the strap is “perfect” and five-stars all the way.

I tried a few different types of quick-release camera straps and usually the connectors were distracting and big. While an unruly connector might be necessary for my full-frame DSLR I don't think it's necessary for my smaller and lighter mirrorless camera. I've been using these for close to a year now and so far so good. They seem to be plenty strong and most importantly they never get in my way. WAY smaller than anything I used before. Maybe they could be even stronger with some space-age materials, but in my opinion these are the best of what's out there for my purposes.

The M1A is an amazing product. I needed something that could unattach easily for long exposure tripod shooting and convert from shoulder to sling type strap in seconds. The perfect width. I bought two, one green and one brown for my Sony cameras, this way I could tell them apart quickly in the bag or backpack. The build is rugged and has held up great in prolonged outdoor shooting usage. Totally modular with the M1w wrist strap. Great system.

Lightweight, totally modular and interchangeable with the Simplr M1A shoulder straps, the M1w is a no-brainer purchase for those times you want to go super-lightweight. I use it on my Sony A6300 for street shooting. Other wrist strap set-ups have a buckle in the way where your hand wraps around the camera and are a hassle to take on and off, this is geniusly well…simple.

My favorite wrist strap.

The M1w is my favorite wrist strap for everything from a Ricoh GR II, Sony RX100 V, to Sony A6500, and even the A7RII.

The most important three aspects of a wrist strap is convenience, customization, and flexibility. There are many strap options on the market that are able to satisfy one or two of the three, but not all of them at the same time. Too often, a strap will feel secure, but not dexterous, or be flexible, but not secure; the M1w does it all.

The strap is incredibly easy to secure and dial in a proper fit, you can simply set your desired hold point and it will stay there until you want to make the loop tighter or looser. Its nylon webbing is flexible, waterproof, and easy move your wrists around; perfect for street photography, where you have to be a bit loose with your positioning.

Another great aspect of the design is fact that you can quickly disconnect the strap from the camera and set it down or hand off your camera to someone else; the entire thing is perfectly modular and works well with the Simplr shoulder strap. You can have two quick connect lugs on your camera for the shoulder strap and you can quickly take out the two straps, snap in the wrist strap on your desired hand and get going. Because the connection point to the camera is a thin loop, you will never worry about scratching your camera because of metal loops or other attachments that other, bulkier, wrist straps have. You can actually remove your metal lugs (circle or triangle) from your camera and attach the the wrist strap directly to the camera for more silent operation.

As a bonus the loop attachments will fit anything from a full frame camera to a compact camera.

Overall, this is my favorite wrist strap and I will be purchasing more for myself and as gifts for my photography buddies.

I also highly recommend the M1a shoulder/neck strap!

The Simplr promise with regular camera straps extends to their wrist straps. I've tried a number of wrist straps throughout the years, for regular urban shooting, and none of them sat quite right, or were too finicky, or got in the way. I've used the wrist strap with both the Fujifilm X-E3 and the X-Pro2 cameras with the Fujinon prime lenses on each body, and it works a treat: smoothly, without fuss, enabling me to do my work without a hitch. Thumbs up!

If you're looking for a sleek and functional strap look no further. I use it on both my Polaroid Spectra and Sony A99, it works great for both. It stays in place, works as both a full-body and one-shoulder, and looks good. Can't ask for much more.

Very comfortable strap in use, and I like that there is no brand name on it and no screaming colours. Very easy disconnect buckles. Delivery was very fast, but the only problem was that I had to pay extra taxes for customs (I live in Belgium). Highly recommended.

This strap is the best. I tried to live with the stock strap that came with my Fujifilm X-Pro2. The ⅜ inch strap material coupled with triangle metal hook would not behave to my liking. Delivery was fast, the product is as advertised. Thanks for creating a great product.

This camera strap is the perfect solution for my Nikon D3300. It offers all of the flexibility and function you need. The strap is lightweight, completely adjustable and I love the camo design. The ability to easily detach the straps gives you the opportunity to shoot without constraint and you can quickly reattach. This is such a well made product, I highly recommend it.

Easily the best camera straps that I own. Very lightweight, incredibly easy to adjust, and durable. SimplrStraps has a customer for life. Great for cameras of all sizes and an absolute joy to use with my RX1RII. Clasps hold their place well, but can be quickly adjusted for any length. Quick-disconnect buckles are very convenient and the length of the attachment points mean that my straps never get in the way of my shooting. A simple, understated, and overall excellent design. Thank you!

This review is based on my personal opinion. If your looking a simple yet very stylish neck strap this one definitely fits the bill. The nylon is very soft and slides easily if worn cross body. All the hardware is strong and I feel very confident they will stand up against everyday use. In my opinion I have compared this strap to The Peak Design leash and Dsptch strap. My conclusion has lead me to pick the simplR M1a strap hands down.

This great-looking strap now connects my Ricoh GR to my neck. Now I don't know what do with my hands, but it looks great: well-made but without drawing undue attention to itself. The teeny quick-disconnect feature is handy and easy to use, even with my fumbling fingers.

Nice Strap. I looked at a few different options before buying this one. I'm happy with my decision. Very light. Packs very small. I can remove it in about 5 seconds. Most important thing is it's very comfortable and almost nothing to get in the way of where I hold my camera. I use it on a Sony a6300.

I ordered this when they were doing a promo with FujiRumors website. I was definitely wary becuase I couldn’t find any reviews. Found out it was a new company and took a leap of faith. This works and looks good on my fuji x100f. just about the ideal strap for that particular camera. Subtracting one star becuase I nearly forgot where I bought it from. There’s no brand name on it. Maybe that’s good.
