Instead of tacking-on over-engineered hardware, it’s made from the same strong, flexible, lightweight fabric as the strap — plus a simple yet secure sliplok that won’t budge under load, no matter how heavy your camera.
One Strap That’s Up for Anything
To be clear, the F1 functions beautifully as a neck strap, but it’s much more versatile than that.
Quickly lengthen the F1 to use as a cross-body/sling strap, or loop the webbing through the D-rings to make a wrist strap — all without carrying (or remembering to carry) extra stuff.
We’ve heard tales of photographers literally tying their F1’s onto things, and attaching the D-rings or adjustment tab to carabiners for peace-of-mind. Use your imagination — F1 can take it!
Light, Strong & Built Tough in USA
A lot of camera straps are stuck in the past … unnecessarily bulky, made from traditional low-tech materials and metal hardware.
We take a different approach, using materials found in modern expedition gear, where strength-to-weight ratio is critical, and exposure to the elements is a given.
If you’re looking for a faux-heirloom made of leather and steel, you’ll have to look elsewhere — because we won’t make camera straps that rust, rot or crack after a downpour (especially for today’s weather-sealed cameras).
Sleek Where it Matters Most
Not all cameras are the same, so we’ve got two optimized mounting options, reducing bulk around the hand when possible.
For cameras that require a “traditional” flat mount, we use hardware developed by aerospace engineers, for cameras being sent to … you guessed it … space. And to tidy up the loose ends, we developed a streamlined installation method.
The barely-there lug mount version (shown here) comes with our proprietary Standard Split Rings, made from a steel and magnesium alloy that’s 25% stronger than stainless steel. It’s almost like holding a naked camera — but much more secure.

I had tried three camera straps for my Fujifilm X-T30 and had to return two because I could not get the straps attached to the camera very well. When I found the F1 strap online, read the reviews, and looked at the video on how to attach it, I thought, Ok. I’ll try it. I am extremely pleased with this strap. It is comfortable, sleekly designed, and I was able to attach it to my camera, although it took a while. I am a grandma and my fingers are not very nimble anymore. My camera has very tiny holes for straps, but I kept going back to the video and trying. Voila. I finally did it. I like wearing it around my neck, but I also know that if I sling it over one shoulder, it will also be quite comfortable. If anyone is searching for a quality built strap with an understated design and a logical way to attach to the camera, this is the one. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been curious about these for a while now, so when the chance to pick up a blem F1 rolled around I jumped on it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks with my Nikon SP and here are a few things I’ve noticed:
-If you’re coming from non-adjustable straps it will take a little bit to get used to multiple layers of webbing. I found myself getting confused which side of the strap I was picking up. Once you adjust to this, it’s a total nonissue and don’t write it off if this frustrates you.
-I don’t adjust it a ton most of the time, but being able to cinch it down when slung across my back is GOLD for active stuff (biking, hiking, climbing, chasing kids down, etc).
-Figuring out which side you want to orient the strap to takes some experimentation. We’re all different!
-The wrist strap use is amazing, and it’s also a great way to tidy things when you are storing your camera on a shelf or in a cabinet!
Overall, I’m quite pleased with my F1. If you’re on the fence about one just get it–it’s absolutely worthwhile!

I bought the F1 strap for my LUMIX GX9 because I wanted a versatile strap that was easy to handle and adjust. The F1 more than met my expectations. I’m very happy with the quality and versatility of this product.

Wanted a comfortable, light weight adjustable camera strap for my Fuji X100V. The F1 in Castor Grey is perfect! Never gets in the way when shooting like my leather strap, and takes up almost no space in my camera bag. So versatile as a cross-body strap, as a shoulder strap or even as a wrist strap. Everybody should own a Simplr.

I bought the F1 strap for my Fujifilm camera because I prefer not to wear logos and leather straps are rough on my skin. Then with a few tugs and one loop, it turns into a wrist strap. Brilliant! Now, I want one for my Minolta 35mm film camera.

I like almost everything with the F1 camera strap. Looks great, feels great and doesn’t slip as some of the other straps I have used in the past. The feature to double up as a wrist strap is genius, IMHO! My only gripe is that the rings seem to be a tad too small to install easily. They were constantly slipping from my fingers as I attempted to get a good grip on them and simultaneously widen them enough to slide through the camera mounts. Having said that I will still be ordering more of these for my other cameras. Very well made product, overall. Thanks!!

I bought a Fujifilm XT-3 and wanted non-leather strap to use with it.
When finding your straps online and looking at your product videos, I was pretty sure the F-1 would be the appropriate choice for my new camera. And I found that to be the case. I especially like the ability to make it a hand strap. I also wanted something lighter weight and flexible.

I’ve been shooting with my Simplr F1 strap for a few weeks now, and I’m completely in love with it. The single length adjustment tab is quicker and easier to use than a traditional camera strap that has length adjustments on both sides, and I frequently switch between using the F1 as a wrist strap for extra security while casually carrying my camera in my hand, to a short neck strap to free up both hands while switching lenses, to a cross-body sling for extended periods of hands-free carrying. The F1 has low-profile lug mounts, and takes up almost no space when it’s rolled up as a wrist strap, which allows for easy storage of a camera with the strap still attached, and eliminates the need for a quick-release system, in my opinion. This adds a bit of extra simplicity to my setup that I really enjoy: I can pull my camera out of my bag (by the strap, if I’m pressed), loop it around my wrist, and be ready to shoot, instead of having to pull my Peak Design strap out from a pocket in my bag and attach each side of the quick release system before feeling safe to take my hands off my camera. My ONLY complaint is that when I ordered it, I expected the strap to be about a quarter of an inch wider than it turned out to be, but that’s on me for not checking the dimensions before ordering, and it’s still a wide enough strap to match well with mirrorless bodies, even larger ones like my Panasonic G9.

I’ve tried a couple different straps from more well-known brands before finding the Simplr F1. In my opinion, this is far and away the best match to my Leica Q2. It is a minimalist and functional. It carries the heft of the Q2 very well, can be quickly and easily adjusted, weighs almost nothing, and packs down very small. It is everything I need and nothing I don’t and it looks great. And the construction and materials are excellent! Personally, I think this is a good value for the prices, but then again I bought a Leica so I may not be the best judge of that… Haha, either way, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this friends.
