Stowed Safely, to Shooting Freely
Go from having your camera securely cinched up, for easy mobility — to slung low, for unhindered portrait and landscape shooting — just by pulling the F1’s adjustment tab.
Instead of tacking-on over-engineered hardware, it’s made from the same strong, flexible, lightweight fabric as the strap — plus a simple yet secure sliplok that won’t budge under load, no matter how heavy your camera.
One Strap That’s Up for Anything
To be clear, the F1 functions beautifully as a neck strap, but it’s much more versatile than that.
Quickly lengthen the F1 to use as a cross-body/sling strap, or loop the webbing through the D-rings to make a wrist strap — all without carrying (or remembering to carry) extra stuff.
We’ve heard tales of photographers literally tying their F1’s onto things, and attaching the D-rings or adjustment tab to carabiners for peace-of-mind. Use your imagination — F1 can take it!
Light, Strong & Built Tough in USA
A lot of camera straps are stuck in the past … unnecessarily bulky, made from traditional low-tech materials and metal hardware.
We take a different approach, using materials found in modern expedition gear, where strength-to-weight ratio is critical, and exposure to the elements is a given.
If you’re looking for a faux-heirloom made of leather and steel, you’ll have to look elsewhere — because we won’t make camera straps that rust, rot or crack after a downpour (especially for today’s weather-sealed cameras).
Sleek Where it Matters Most
Not all cameras are the same, so we’ve got two optimized mounting options, reducing bulk around the hand when possible.
For cameras that require a “traditional” flat mount, we use hardware developed by aerospace engineers, for cameras being sent to … you guessed it … space. And to tidy up the loose ends, we developed a streamlined installation method.
The barely-there lug mount version (shown here) comes with our proprietary Standard Split Rings, made from a steel and magnesium alloy that’s 25% stronger than stainless steel. It’s almost like holding a naked camera — but much more secure.

It’s hard to explain how every single thing about the simplr straps make sense. It made me feel like i didnt know what to expect out of a camera strap until i tried one. I would never buy any other camera strap.

This is a great strap I would recommend it to anyone. Some type of quick release solution for tripod use would be a nice addition, but that’s no deal breaker.

The F1 is, simply, a great camera strap. And one well worth every penny of its relatively reasonable price. I now have one on my Fuji XT5, and had another on an XT3 before it, as well as having the smaller Simplr strap on my tiny X30. It’s comfortable, functional and just seems to fit the camera, in an organic way. The only minor irritant worth mentioning – is the difficulty of getting the round silver rings, at the ends of the straps, to correctly attach to the camera’s lugs. Prying the metal ring open enough to slide it through the lug takes the patience of a saint and the strength of a dock worker, neither of which I am. Not to mention the whole issue of which side (of the ring) is the right side to slide through, because if you put the wrong side through, you’ll have to redo the entire process… Sigh. But, apart from that, it is a seriously great strap. And if you have a good camera, shouldn’t you treat yourself to a good strap too, and one that is worthy of it?

I wanted a strong, classy but discrete, compact and light strap for my Fuji XT-30ii that could swap between being a neck strap and wrist strap almost daily without quick connects or any other theoretically breakable parts if someone tried to snatch my camera from my hands. This does that, perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with my choice.

I ordered this for the Canon M50 Mark II that I got for Christmas, because I wanted something better than the stock Canon camera strap. It didn’t disappoint. These straps are well made, highly functional, and pair well with smaller cameras. I particularly appreciate the ability to easily lengthen it for use as a cross-body strap. The only drawback I found, was that the webbing was a smidge too wide for the flat mounts on my camera. Fortunately, I was able to work them through and although not a perfect fit, the strap is completely serviceable.

For Christmas 2022, I received three Simplr straps, three different colors. Each went on one of my Fuji ILCs. Perfect size width, easy to adjust the length, cool colors and vibes. Strong and practical, and they don’t slip—just enough grippy-type surface. A+++ — and hope some new colors are launched.

I purchased this strap for my new Fuji xt5. I love the look and feel of the strap and it is easy to store in a camera bag due to its low profile. The only negative is the split rings. They are very sturdy but not flexible and due to this fact they are are very difficult to attach. I would have awarded 5 stars if not for the rings. Still a great product and I’m well-pleased with my purchase.

I wouldn’t think I would care very much about a camera strap but the SIMPLR strap is Amazing! Comfortable & easy to use. Light & really cool looking. I’m buying another couple of them for all of my cameras!!

Let me just say that I used to be a loyal PD customer, but now I’m converted. The really supportive straps they made were a bit too stiff for my small frame and always got in the way. What I like about this strap is that it’s already attached to my camera body, which saves me time and is just overall convenient. Secondly, I appreciate that the design allows for me to easily convert the strap into “wrist mode.” I will def purchase again, and I look forward to any future designs this brand may release.
