Stowed Safely, to Shooting Freely
Go from having your camera securely cinched up, for easy mobility — to slung low, for unhindered portrait and landscape shooting — just by pulling the F1’s adjustment tab.
Instead of tacking-on over-engineered hardware, it’s made from the same strong, flexible, lightweight fabric as the strap — plus a simple yet secure sliplok that won’t budge under load, no matter how heavy your camera.
One Strap That’s Up for Anything
To be clear, the F1 functions beautifully as a neck strap, but it’s much more versatile than that.
Quickly lengthen the F1 to use as a cross-body/sling strap, or loop the webbing through the D-rings to make a wrist strap — all without carrying (or remembering to carry) extra stuff.
We’ve heard tales of photographers literally tying their F1’s onto things, and attaching the D-rings or adjustment tab to carabiners for peace-of-mind. Use your imagination — F1 can take it!
Light, Strong & Built Tough in USA
A lot of camera straps are stuck in the past … unnecessarily bulky, made from traditional low-tech materials and metal hardware.
We take a different approach, using materials found in modern expedition gear, where strength-to-weight ratio is critical, and exposure to the elements is a given.
If you’re looking for a faux-heirloom made of leather and steel, you’ll have to look elsewhere — because we won’t make camera straps that rust, rot or crack after a downpour (especially for today’s weather-sealed cameras).
Sleek Where it Matters Most
Not all cameras are the same, so we’ve got two optimized mounting options, reducing bulk around the hand when possible.
For cameras that require a “traditional” flat mount, we use hardware developed by aerospace engineers, for cameras being sent to … you guessed it … space. And to tidy up the loose ends, we developed a streamlined installation method.
The barely-there lug mount version (shown here) comes with our proprietary Standard Split Rings, made from a steel and magnesium alloy that’s 25% stronger than stainless steel. It’s almost like holding a naked camera — but much more secure.

I THOUGHT I needed a camera strap with disconnectors. When actually, I just had an overweight camera strap, and the connectors were one more reason I wanted to REMOVE it. No more carrying a strap, and a wrist strap, plus a bag to carry whatever strap I wasn’t using. Now I just have a camera and an F1, and want for no more. Thank you SIMPLR for putting my camera gear on a much needed diet!

I had previously bought an Ultralight F1 strap for my Fuji X100V and was quite pleased with it. When I recently acquired a Fuji XPRO-3, I decided the larger strap would be better. It turns out to be perfect for this camera and I’m quite happy with it. I looked at a lot of straps before deciding on the Simplr straps and, yes, other straps may be “cooler” or “hipper” or more stylish but the value of this strap can’t be beat. I’ve been an outdoor/event photographer for 40+ years and have used many straps. This is THE best strap for the money out there.

Great utilitarian strap, unfussy, not rough material but feels strong, and being able to turn it into a hand strap is something I’ve wanted from a strap for a long time. Highly recommended!

Quick adjustment, high quality, and lightweight. The size is very suitable for mirrorless cameras. I investigated in a competing product also with quick adjustment, but it looks like wearing a parachute or seatbelt. Yes you can find many cheaper straps, but the F1 is a neck strap, sling strap, and wrist strap all in one.

I originally contacted Simplr via Instagram to inquire about changing to the new rings for my Castor Gray F1 … but then I saw the Wolf Gray was back — and, yeah, I had to spend the $42, as this color is just too sweet paired with my all black X-Pro 3.
In recent months, I’ve been mostly using my Hyperion strap for its comfort and simplicity. But I have to say, the F1 is making a return as my go-to. It’s somehow ridiculously light but also sturdy. And the adjustment from sling to neck to wrist is clutch. Phenomenal design.

The F1 is a fantastic camera strap. Minimalist, light and easy to adjust. Perfect for my Leica CL. I would recommend this strap if you have a small lightweight camera and you do not need a big strap with unnecessary hardware.

I’ve tried many straps, from big names to not so big names, and nothing compares. This is a thing of beauty! It’s sleek, it’s strong, it’s lightweight, it’s minimal. It pairs perfectly with my X100V and X-T3.
Don’t think about it, just buy it!!!

I love a minimalist strap, and this improves on others I’ve tried. Being able to go from sling style to a wrist strap in literal seconds is fantastic. Strong, durable, no excess.

Simply the best camera strap I’ve ever owned. And I’ve tried quite a few. Works very well in every configuration (neck, sling and wrist strap) and can be quickly and easily adjusted.

Sleek, easy to adjust and lightweight. It’s honestly a fantastic strap that works well. Made in USA need I say more. I’m very happy with my strap and the coyote brown looks fantastic with my durasilver xpro3.
